gamers, we're back right away. been humbled recently for sure. i think we have to run it back with the necrobinder and the reason is i don't want them to be not on the same level of ascension. like what are we talking about? undeath, seven block, add a copy to your discard pile. discard, right? does seem like having a ton of block and using that, i'm gonna take a crazy path here, having a ton of block, more than average block for sure,
-
0:37
and then using said block to protect a big oste might be the play. it does cost 0 too, which is just like... i mean, it's the icing on the cake. now not every run needs to be big oste run, but on the flip side... okay, i'll take 6 damage to take... only 4 damage. i'll take 4 damage to take 9 damage off the field. although he would have absorbed some, to be fair. sorry, it's the starter deck, bro. there's only so much you can do. oste doesn't take thorn's damage. is that true?
-
1:19
4 damage card from your discard pile into your hand actually seems like it only works once but it seems like that could be something. upgrade 2 is like it's so hard to guarantee that that's gonna like do anything for us man when we have such a default starting deck situation here. crazy first turn for great blast. 6 damage. 6 damage we snooze bigly. i'm basically frail for life. stalom for a turn.
-
1:55
i think we do want more undeath in the draw pile so we can bring one back with a graveblast. we're not taking any damage, which is insane given how we played there. maybe we're cooking. world time kind of crazy, but i really think there's some value in just always having some form of aoe so you don't take 30 damage on like every single aoe fight that comes across. it's also, i mean, you shouldn't evaluate a card like, oh, it does more damage than a basic strike.
-
2:39
but it literally does do more damage than a basic strike. i don't know what i'm thinking with this one man, why are you bringing back an undeath? oh because then it adds another one to our discard pile to make it even harder to draw our attacks. yes dude, i get it. it's not so bad so far. i mean this is your oste attack power but literally the only attack we have is
-
3:15
undeath. so i'm just gonna take something that gives us some... or, unleash. i'm gonna take something that gives us some draw. what do you do? you gain three strength every time you hit us. devastating. this literally does not hit us. this keeps oste alive though and allows you to do more damage. okay, i don't know why i was even out. oh no, he still gains the strength! but he didn't hit me! you didn't hit me though! we still don't take damage. give me a bunch of souls. why? i wanna draw all of our undeaths, man.
-
4:02
18 damage is like a disaster. could be a disaster. probably this is our all in turn. we take 3 damage but we kill you. next turn. presumably. okay, thank god. a rattle and then a bunch of 0 cost oste attacks might be a way forward for us. i would love you to lose 9 hp a few times. seems like one of those potions is better to use on a basic mob versus a boss.
-
4:54
and the longer we stall, the happier we are, man. 13 damage? nah, it ain't gonna be like that, i'm afraid. look at this. look at the power of undeath in this situation. give me more. do i want you to die this turn? yes, i think i do. interesting sound. more oste cards, more oste attacks. and then let's see, men. let's see if we can take out an elite. not an incredible start. obviously should have done that last turn, but i did my defense. i didn't know, man. actually, thorns maybe?
-
5:41
against a multi hitting enemy, at least on some turns, with a bunch of zero cost decent blocks in our deck, might be able to do something. retain... yeah, sure, retain a soul. where's my undeath, bro? there it is. you have to play a rattle. can be like a bodyguard into a rattle, knowing, like, unleashed is probably coming around. you're already broken. huge. i think you save a graveblast. save the graveblast to use on a more important situation.
-
6:33
how many of these do we want? i'll be so honest with you, i think we want as many as we can get. i really do. 33 damage. not great! i probably should hit you for 18 but instead i'm gonna play two defends and hold another defend in my hand. because i feel like we just have like infinite undeaths coming around. taking no damage. i think we've misplayed this fight a little bit but literally it doesn't matter. planisphere.
-
7:27
interesting. osteidio's 5 whenever he hits an enemy this turns summon 2. if we're gonna run that build, then that's what we're doing, man. i don't think we really have a good transfigure target right now. it's a very aggro path we're on. good choices for damage. 6 7. he's proud of himself. i see you saying it. look at how proud of himself he is. yes, so what? we have a little fun here. unleashed does 12. so we're like almost dying, but we're not dead.
-
8:11
which means anything could happen. retain a defend. oste literally got huge value. he summoned all the way up to the incredible number of three. we take none damage. bodyguard, snap on him. we're retaining two cards now. wait, wait, wait, we're building something, man. keep it rolling. we gotta figure out, i guess we wanna put, we wanna put retain on our rattle card so that we can get like the full combo. the full combo being like,
-
8:55
you know, sikkim, unleash and then hit him with a 21 damage rattle that gets a ton of summons off of it. probably gonna need a defy no matter what. lizard tail is so freaking huge here. because of lizard tail i won't even hit that campfire. let's just fight this fella right off the bat. sikkim, snap, retain to defend, play the other defense. we literally live. he doesn't live, we live. i, by the way, would not be surprised at all if we end up using lizard tail here.
-
9:46
oh, we have played an undeath. well then definitely bring it back though. if we have to use lizard tail, i'm not sweating that at all. undeath please. undeath, huge. we're not gonna get another grave blast. player defend anyway. we can play 15, 22. we're taking no damage. we're getting no value. true, we are getting no value. but every turn, oste goes up by one, man. which means eventually he'll be able to hit for 15 with an unleash.
-
10:30
13, you're doing 12. crazy value. he's already on 7. still gonna take us like 3 turns to get the kills here. we want as many as possible. still 2 turns. 22 damage. oh my lord. still... 21. we literally don't die, which is insane. sewing, meat reaping. oh my god, we made it through. whenever a non minion enemy dies to doom, heal 3. buddy, that's not my deck!
-
11:15
literally necessary. i'm not gonna take that just to try to farm doom kills. that's like egregious i don't know why i said it like that. okay, obviously in multiplayer the tent is out of control, but even in single player look at what i'm able to do as a result of this man let's get better on deaths because it's kind of like the gold is card in our deck right now i was about to say we need to rest before the boss to how embarrassing um, oh steve. oh
-
11:47
i don't really mind you taking the hit on this one. i still think we do need, well obviously we have to rest before the boss now that i think about it. snap on him, retain a grave blast, unleash on him, 21 damage on this fella and wait everything's starting to, everything's starting to feel all right man. one of those. how about a sick em? we already have retain on so which is crazy.
-
12:14
can you bring back anything that gets a kill? i really... wait, no maybe. grave blast, bring back rattle. gets a kill. huge. easiest pass of my life. already crazy. snap on him. put it on a strike because we're going to play an unleash right now. we're also going to play a strike right now. but you save the soul for the next turn. because i... yeah, you summon some enemies. you can only play one skill per turn. i literally don't care.
-
12:52
as long as i can play 7 on dying per turn. which i know is a skill, i'm telling a joke, i'm making a joke. bring back an undeath, hit him again. oste's attacks do 4 additional damage. you gotta factor that into your mathematical calculation. oste's growing, bro. the way this deck is kind of... i'll say it, it's poggy. fetch literally draws, end is an oste attack. holy! wait, wait, wait, pulling it back from the freaking brink? i do think...
-
13:31
summoning more is gonna be big, but do you actually draw two? no, you don't. okay. summoning more is gonna be big. and defy, before you get mad at me, defy does not get two weakness anymore. it only has one. so we fetch. i'm literally gonna draw. sikkim. sikkim needs retain. sorry. we know for the future. 15 damage. literally dump all these because i need to get my undeaths out there as soon as possible. not gonna happen.
-
14:09
still as soon as possible, we'll just get it next turn bro. undeath, one defend, two strikes. obviously we do have to do some damage to you. it's a snap. it's a bodyguard snap rattle situation. 20 damage. it's a sikkim fetch. unleash for 28. graveblast that brings back an undeath so he's only taking like 11 damage. so we still got our heavy hitter out there.
-
14:55
this kind of sucks though. to defend, a capture spirit and then an 11 damage rattle. this way we get our undeaths out there faster. solemn. i'd love it if he took zero damage. more... you know what? we want as many undeaths as possible to try to survive this team at the end. big hits on that one. he's at 26 max hp. i don't know how relevant the max hp is for us, but... solemy. solemy. snap. you know what? on this turn, we'll do defend.
-
15:37
because we're going to play it on death. might as well bodyguard into that then. the ultimate dream, we're going to win the fight. the ultimate dream for us would be not only do we win the fight, but we don't use lizard tail. but i would honestly caution against this all or nothing thinking that if we use lizard tail, it's an l. that's literally like the relic did what the relic was supposed to do. it'll require some really, really good draw.
-
16:11
we're also drawing way too many blocks. i don't know how this could possibly be coming to pass, but... soul me. soul me. soul me. i literally just said at some point i want to... if we could draw five on deaths, we'd live, right? it's a sic'em and a rattle. we want as many on deaths as possible. i think we're gonna live. because you do 48, i literally need to draw like one block. don't draw it because you might draw into them. you don't want to draw into them.
-
16:47
swag. bro, that's swag. what do you want me to say? that's swag incarnate, man! whenever attacks deal damage, they also apply that much doom. way, way, way, way, way, way, way, way. i am wary about transforming everything in our draw pile into doom and then just having way too many blocks. i feel like reaper form, if we could find a way to play it,
-
17:21
also gives us the chance to get that heal off of book repair knife protectors. okay luminescence retain gain to i think actually so upgrade 6 is nice, but we have 10 so we should be okay, i think you want luminescence in hand and the whole reasoning behind it is because we can use it to cheat out a reaper form and get kills with doom has to be a non minion oh minions are like summons. okay draw
-
18:03
it's a nasty turn, but... i mean, we could use it to play like a defend in a situation like that too. that's true. bro, why won't this guy... i have defense in my deck. wait, do i have defense in my deck? we don't need re perform on this one. that's basically what i'm trying to say here. do we have defense in our deck or do we just have undeath? we might literally be an undeath merchant, man. mind you, i'm for it. draw re perform, please. no re perform. give me a snap that retains an unleash.
-
18:52
and then we can get our wombo combo set up here. did it in the wrong order, but whatever. i'll take a poke. we want more oste attacks. so that went horribly. we want to defy. we got good attacks on this one. i think it's definitely a snap and yet still poke situation. we lose oste, whatever, we take zero damage. that's big for us. we want a reaper form out there. do we need to play anything else? only things that draw, i would say. pass turn. took rattle. we probably want to keep that.
-
19:36
21 damage, a little nasty. deck has kind of fallen apart a little bit. can't really disagree with that. 10 damage is more like it. and finally we get the card we're actually looking for. so we've applied... we need to kill you with doom, which is tough because i need to make sure in that case that you don't just fly away and you're flying away. so i need to hit you at least twice this turn, which should be easy. now you're not taking off, but i probably have to apply a ton of doom to you.
-
20:24
well, luminescence, this gets the kill. we get 3 hp off of the heal. okay. we need rattle. don't even worry about that. you know what? do we want a dirge? seems like it could be effective with the luminescence as well. question marks heal us. 100 gold for a common relic. absolutely. bronze scales. we are kind of like a... we're kind of a block merchant, to be honest. sikkim kind of ticking me off.
-
21:02
reaper form kind of tempting for sure. finally an undeath early bro. oh, i've clicked off the screen. if we were to grave blast, i mean if i'm being real with you, just grave blast an undeath back man. puts us in a really nice position. i recognize they're going to be adding more statuses every single turn, but we actually are in a strange position where we scale. like just very similarly to how enemies scale, we also scale.
-
21:49
i'd really like to play a reaper form though. i'm realizing i don't think it's gonna happen. i think i'm gonna dump these two because getting them out is like playing a curse, whereas a defend just blocks five. playing that is like block five and dump a curse. reaper form literally essential. and then there you go. now we got some tempo. now we can heal six off of the fight. you are doing 15 damage. literally doesn't matter to us. let's prove it. let's prove that this works. let's prove that this insane strategy can get us there.
-
22:31
because now you're getting doomed every single turn. we should be drawing a ton of undeaths. a ton of the one undeaths that exist. also, all of our cards kind of suck. you're only blocking three. devastating, of course. that's big to kill you at least and heal us for a bit. do we have to play a defend here? play a defend so you can draw into your other undeath. literally had to be done.
-
23:07
10 damage on the board right now, we play one of these then. we play one of those so that it gets out of our deck as well. so yes, we take a nasty hit, but that's okay, because we're gonna heal off it as well. i'm not saying it's gonna be perfect, i'm just saying for what we have right now, it might be all we have. it also gives us a way to get a kill, whereas before, i don't even think i need to tell you, we didn't have any damage, bro! oste was carrying a lot of the heavy lifting. we literally want none of it. we want none of it. we still have lizard tail, which means we should be aggressive.
-
23:48
that's the play. now, this is a dangerous position to be in, for sure. we need to weaken you. really, the only thing that matters is that we weaken you. so can we draw defy? now we're chilling. bodyguard ain't going out of style. poke and rattle to do some damage. he doesn't get affected by a lack of strength anyway. 17 damage, i'm still chilling. might as well hit with the attack first. you have to play reperform. i've captured your spirit. and then graveblast... oh, wait, i'm realizing...
-
24:39
we haven't played an undeath yet. any zero cost card that's good? nope. no, not really. it's okay. we take seven, but at least we got the doom generation started on them. so this is what we wanted to see. and then play your defend as soon as possible while you still can. and then draw it again. that's also really good. draw it again. we drew it again. that's exactly what you want to see. then you can actually afford to get some starter capital out there. it's a two defend situation, i'm afraid.
-
25:24
that's really good. oh, he's dead, bro. we just need to not take any damage if possible. oh, he died to thorns. that might be better. that literally might have saved us more though. i hold. i swear to you, i hold. we have to fight the elite. literally the play. literally the play get as many souls as possible. why? we need undying to get out there as quickly as possible. probably going to play a calcify. bro, where's my undying? okay, you have to play re perform. early re perform is still peak.
-
26:19
you play luminescence on that turn, take as little damage as possible, don't even poke because obviously the poke is bad. now that we have re performed, undeath has to get out there and now we start doing some damage. i don't even think you have to sweat this summon, man. oste is definitely going to die. devastating. literally, don't play attacks. yes, we lose lizard tail. we don't use it, bro. we don't lose it, we use it. yeah, that's our new motto. you have to capture spirit. it's literally the card that is going to allow you to play infinite undeaths.
-
27:09
how much damage you doing? 19. we're not taking damage. wait, wait, wait. this is how we get there. this is how we get to peak. play a soul. we have to get the capture spirit as soon as possible. do we play any attacks? no. no, we play none attacks because we can't afford to fill our draw pile with daises in a situation like this. it's a grave blast in this case that brings back an undeath, which allows us to get more undeaths in the future. and then don't even do the math. don't even do the math. i'm dead. there's nothing i can do. i died.
-
27:55
i really, really think we had something. i really think we had something. and i think running into the hunter killer who's basically an elite that hard counters us into running into the entomancer is not fair. that's too much. but we go again. one of three rares. the earliest scythe you could possibly have. yeah, yeah, it's gonna be that. and then literally we just wanna take every node that has combat. and then the scythe will become like a ritual dagger.
-
28:34
already doing 16 damage for two. this could be huge. obviously we'd also like to upgrade it as soon as possible. obviously we also need some kind of other theming for the deck. one card is not a theme unless the card is alpha as the watcher, which i won a 20 on my phone yesterday. but for, but i really, i really did though. i really did. we literally cannot play barry. dude, i know dirge got nerfed, but like
-
29:07
it's uncommon. it's gotta be good. that's our play. scythe is a one hit ko on the leaf slime. huge. we take four damage. that's alright. did i do the math? obviously not, no. do i have three souls in my draw pile to do something with? yeah bro. what am i gonna do with them? i don't know. do enough damage to take this fella out i suppose. vulnerability is really gonna help us here. and i gotta remember, combat. we want to do combat.
-
29:51
if we can get this, usually building around just one card getting slightly stronger is not very good. but maybe this is the time when it is very good. sure, i'll draw every card in my deck. i think honestly don't play this scythe yet. we want to play it, but like you don't need to play it while weakened for 13 damage. that's crazy. now here i'll play a weakened for 13 damage. it doesn't need to get the kill to get stronger. so what do we care?
-
30:29
i think this is basically like more than eight block. eight block at a minimum. i guess it's yeah, yeah, eight block at a minimum. gen z boss and a mini bro. hate to lose fear? then don't lose it. play that instead. it's just i see the dirge and i'm like well i have to play it obviously. that's your turn. i wish it got the kill but that's the turn. actually a beautiful turn for us there. it does... oh it doesn't exhaust! so they've just they've made the greatest card of all time.
-
31:17
enemy loses 8 strength, doesn't exhaust? no wonder it's uncommon. they've never made anything like it before. can you chill with the vulnerability? you are getting me a little stressed, i'm not gonna lie. you're spiking my cortisol. now, a grave blast that brings back an enfeebling touch is very interesting, but i think i'm gonna pass. i think i'm gonna bet on myself. i'm gonna say that things are going pretty well. we're light on aoe. i think we choose not to think about it. this turn you have vulnerability. we're gonna think about it.
-
32:06
obviously this is banshee's cry, it's also aoe. i don't know if we're ever gonna get to the point where we can actually play it again because we need to play like at least six ethereal cards or something but that's okay. you know what? summon and give me a soul so we can draw into it a little faster. i think we basically got the best thing we could have gotten out of the attack potion. only i had a little more strength but you know what? this is okay. i'm taking 10.
-
32:48
they're not doing any damage on this turn, which is obviously awesome. need to do 19 damage. not gonna happen, but at least i'm only taking 6, i think. banshee's cry literally is playable. why didn't i draw it faster? horncleat, kind of crazy. 10 damage, upgrade 2 random cards in your discard pile. we need some new cards. i think that could be great.
-
33:24
we still want to do combat, i think. and we're running the risk of, like, obviously playing with fire. but the more combat we can do early, the better the scythe will be forever. forever, bro. thank you to horncleat for giving us the space to... holding space for defying gravity is what i'm trying to say. literally, we're just stalling you until the scythe comes back out. ain't gonna do it without my scythe on.
-
33:56
now pull from below is kind of interesting. we literally have one, we have two ethereal cards, but it does scale. so on a long enough fight might be relevant and it gets upgraded. holy cow. wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, we got something? no, i'm never going to do it without my scythe on. oh no. you know what i'm talking about? steely heads. i don't think it's worth playing a dirt share. i think we still, even though
-
34:31
we could kill you next turn easily. we still just gotta do something with this. you're hitting me for one. like, i don't really care about getting hit for one. now if i'm getting hit for more, i'm gonna start to care. and it looks like i'm gonna start to care, let's put it that way. if we have to rest, we have to rest. and i will choose just not to reckon with the fact that that means we might have been better off not fighting and instead resting and upgrading, but whatever.
-
35:04
i mean, sculpting strike works with what we're trying to build here. forget the elite, we go campfire. or we go shopping. you know, the bone means we can afford to be a little aggressive. so i do want to remove a curse, but also we don't need to remove a curse if instead we can just draw two extra cards once. i'll take it to five for sure. it's also ethereal. i'm going to get a little crazy. i'm still going to upgrade scythe.
-
35:41
heal to full, receive poor sleep unplayable, retain? yo but it's actually awesome? or lose 8 hp for a relic? no the relic is happy flower! surely we have some way to deal with this. first off you just take this fella out. that's gonna save you a lot of heartache. then you take zero damage and you pass your turn. if we could get scythe not to exhaust obviously like i mean anything could happen. it's this.
-
36:21
you hit two times. let's try to avoid any more statuses being added into our deck. are we playing this like a freaking genius? because i feel really smart right now. i'd probably feel smarter if i wasn't about to take three damage, but we're about to heal like crazy regardless. huge? huge. any last words, brother? yeah, i didn't think so. healed for 12 and we're still below, which is awesome.
-
37:06
we don't really, we're not a soul deck. i think this is actually a skip and 20 cards seems like an okay place to be. i will say it does to me feel like it would be an awesome time to get some aoe. because the boss we're about to fight is an aoe boss. and if that aoe happens to be an attack potion, so be it brother. make sure we play our ethereal card. literally chilling. and we got our flower trigger. literally still chilling.
-
37:51
we got all those souls in our deck now. huge man, huge. explosive ample is aoe. it's not a ton of aoe, but it is aoe. scourge, 13 doom and a draw? i really feel like that draw might be important. now this is a resting situation. i don't care if we have meat on the bone. like this is, this could be pretty bad. no matter what, we know we're playing this. this does 42 damage, which is awesome.
-
38:33
literally draw a card which kills you and then just put up a modicum of block. yes, we take the five damage, but it was a card to kill you either way. might have been two if we did it the other way, which is worse, i'm here to say. not to go all like old 1980s rap on you. you need to pay the iron price. pull from below is obviously like one of the most essential cards that we have.
-
39:11
we are getting stronger over time. you have to play pull from below every time, because anytime you don't play it, it's ethereal, so you'll never see it again. it's three times. unleash. order was all scuffed on this, but it's okay. you're on 19. does he ever resummon? because if he doesn't resummon, i think the fella's in for a nasty time. let's put it that way. let's just get two cards upgraded. we don't even need to play our souls here. we'll save them for later.
-
39:48
like the english beat! hear me out here? sculpt on a soul just to get an extra ethereal card played. keep it rolling. unleash for 16. absolutely can live with it. pull from below is getting buffed like crazy. go ahead and draw it. didn't draw it. okay, defy him anyway. you don't summon. you do gain some strength, you don't summon. pull from below is doing a staggering amount of damage, man.
-
40:28
you literally die to do them off of that. okay, wait though wait i am too potion of doom. it would be really nice to be able to play domain i just don't know if it's gonna be plausible and these are not good for us i'm gonna at least add it because it if the turn oh my god, i
-
41:02
and then try if you draw it on turn one with the very hot cocoa, you're feeling pretty good about things. and then we wanna do as much combat as possible so the scythe goes crazy. i even forgot this card was in our deck, man. we have eight energy, that's pretty solid. it's gonna take us two cards anyway. that's to build up pull from below for later or for now, i suppose. now i'll be the first to tell you, essentially this just couldn't have gone better.
-
41:40
so i wouldn't base whether or not this works based on that one turn. i'll also say veilpiercer allowing domain to be played for free would be crazy. okay? you have no strength. i always forget, turn one, just play everything you got, man. veilpiercer, you play domain. you know what? we literally dirge because we want to get scythe played. turns out we didn't need it, but even still... you're dead, brother. scythe is getting kind of crazy now.
-
42:27
it's a pass for a although deathbringer on turn one could be kinda insane. i'm gonna try even though we're not a doom build, what about just splashing a little doom just to keep him honest, you know? i think it's a fear and a crazy dirge. holy cow oh my god! oh my god! okay. we drew no souls, which seems like not possible, but there's some more doom and some more weakness. this is feeling much better, man. we want domain. we want domain. there we go.
-
43:07
by the way, if that's not how it's pronounced, i apologize, but also i don't want to hear it. you know, while we're here, we know we're going to get scythe next turn. why don't we just play a couple of ethereals? because scythe might not finish the job by itself. or it might. drawing an ethereal draws a card does seem good. i'm just not sure it's what we need for our present setup. i want to ruin your life, bro. will you... will you shoot with that? you know what? make this
-
43:47
ethereal so that it makes pull from below better. you're looking positively scytheable right now. we should just hit you. although dirging into a scythe is also like that seems very relevant to me. still didn't get it. still didn't get it. okay. well, i'll wait on you. i'll hit you, make you do no damage.

44:23
see what we get off of this? a soul which draws a scythe and then you play the scythe and then you're dead to doom. oh my god, wait, the deck is cooking, bro! it's cooking so hard people are gonna be mad that i'm not playing like, uh, potions. which is a great place to be. you're cooked, lad. two energy remains. okay. it's insane to me that we're gonna take damage on this turn, but the other insane thing is that we're actually not. the other insane thing is that we actually are. it's not much, but it's honest work.
-
45:09
transform a basic strike. became a defied. really good. enjoy your doom. it's a gangsta type sentence. holy cow. roll over a bodyguard into an end of days. yeah, that'll work. i just don't think we're adding stuff just to add it. let's put it that way. i will use a power potion. let's just stay out in front of this. take the low risk option on that one. six energy. we draw a card.
-
45:59
kind of a horrible first turn for us, but i'm glad i didn't take the one that puts doom on us for that reason. we should strike you once and then play a domain, i think, on this one. wait, pull from below doesn't exhaust. that's huge. okay. veil piercer, enfeebling touch. you're doing 1 times 3 damage. don't lose... okay, don't lose defy, but definitely get as many souls out there as possible. now we want to play ethereals. ethereal on a soul.
-
46:38
draws another ethereal. draw some more, it didn't draw any more ethereals. okay, pull from below, hits for 25. very good. this upgrades two cards in the draw pile. in the discard pile, i should say. now you're hitting for 26. still get that free veil piercer out there. still weaken you. we're, this literally gives us one energy back. and then we literally take no damage. we're so close to killing you with merely doom.
-
47:17
you're lucky. you're lucky because i could have just slapped you in the face one more time if i had the cards for it. but start of your third turn gains strength and decks. almost. haunt is like it's in the almost category right now. don't lose sight of the important thing. the important thing on this run is not whether we win or lose. the important thing on this run is how strong our scythe becomes. everything else is completely inconsequential and it's getting mighty strong.
-
48:00
i'd rather, you know, we lose domain. what do we care? we got one enemy with 46 hp. he's doing 16 damage. we snooze on him, bro. do we snooze on him? nah, he might be putting them on our forehead for now. i had extra energy, y'all. i will say we, oh, we don't even need the rest because we have meat on the bone this whole time. i forgot that we had meat on the bone. you're literally dead. i just don't know if there's anything more we can do to punish you.
-
48:37
so we actually don't need to feel like we have to rest. of course i will drink this right off the bat. i was hoping that would keep us under 50% max hp, but that's okay. i don't think we need a wisp. now the question is, do we feel confident fighting an elite? i'm going to say no. this is a crazy turn, man. domain and then a 5x dirge. 4 energy.
-
49:12
with 4 energy, i'm not gonna sculpt on a soul just to do it. soul? soul? i will sculpt on a deathbringer to make it free with veilpiercer and then draw, and then the scythe hits you and we pass our turn. and i mean, i feel like we're in a pretty darn good spot. yeah, yeah, i feel like we're in a pretty darn good spot. another domain just gives us a better chance to draw it. i'll be so for real with you.
-
49:54
i'll lose 5 hp. 5 hp puts us back on 38 but still. choose a card to put into your hand. i don't think it's that valuable. this would be really good on turn one, i'm not gonna lie to you. but draw is also just so important for us to draw our enablers, i think. lose decks for 10 max hp or the first time this card is played it does 8 additional damage. i mean 8 on a multi hit is really good but i think honestly
-
50:23
i'll lose the dex potion for a little hp. i'm not willing to roll the dice on the elite though. i'm confident, but i'm not that confident. am i really going to take lee's waffle? lee's waffle probably lets us get two upgrades though. it lets us get one upgrade instead of resting, i should say. is it worth 222 gold to upgrade surge? probably not. probably not. i love our chances against this boss too. i think. i think?
-
51:03
screw it. let's get lee's waffle. it also leaves us in a position, it also leaves us in a position where we can... it's so stupid that you're hitting me. it leaves us in a position where we can more easily trigger meat on the bone and still have more hp to work with as well. so i support it. i'm just trying to figure out, because ideally i'd love to play dirge for as much as possible. you are going to wake up, but that doesn't matter because
-
51:48
we're going to smack you, almost killing you. draw as much as we conceivably can. veilpiercer literally kills you. infeabling touch gets played. this literally kills you. we didn't use a potion for this, right? like this went pretty well then. we have extra energy. veilpiercer lets you play domain for free. we're literally on pen nib, but... i don't know, we literally used pen nib, never mind.
-
52:23
in that case, we want to play as many attacks as possible so we can get back to pen nib. but i will probably not pay attention to pen nib. you should just prepare yourself for that inevitability. x souls plus summon 4x times. okay, summon 4x times. i mean, dirge is a card we oftentimes play on turn one. i think it's worth the upgrade. did we get it on turn one? i don't want to talk about it. i don't want to talk about that either, really. excourage me. we, this was horrible. we did not get the draw we were looking for.
-
53:06
which means we're gonna have to play domain like at cost maybe. but we have plating so we can actually survive a little better. next ethereal card you play costs 0. maybe we just play it this turn, we have extra energy on it anyway. maybe we just never get it is the other thing. i'll play a big third on this one. yeah, we end up taking a small bit of damage but we need to play domain for free. obviously we wanna play scythe. if we're gonna play scythe, we also wanna play it with fear.
-
53:44
which would mean we'd lose this domain. so maybe we'd actually rather just make sure, because the extra draw off of that is so insane. this is the only prickly part, because we have to play a frantic and let's think about the future. so like let's sculpt and make a soul, um, ethereal thus allowing us to get a pull from below value and we'll play another frantic. okay, wait, it's starting to pop a little. 20 damage. we care not because it's not 20 damage. there's no fear here.
-
54:25
you do 83. that is something. so let's start with the obvious. start with the draw. do we have a veilpiercer? we do, but we have no more draw. we make you lose your strength. play a scythe. or do you wait on a scythe? you wait on a scythe until maybe you get it with vulnerability too. it's greedy, but greedy doesn't mean bad, man. and then like literally play that. and now we have five turns with which to make it happen.
-
55:05
we get way more turns to apply... that's pretty good too. to apply doom to you. you know, i think you stall them again, bro! while you're here, stall them again! and these stalls are starting to get quite expensive. it's got 92 doom. we're getting into, like, insane territory. let's get this trash out of our hand. but we're now also at the point where a scythe almost gets a kill by itself. we just want to have it on the same turn as fear.
-
55:53
which i don't think is going to happen. wait, how about pen nib? two. can almost get it to work with pen nib. i think you got to send it up. and this literally kills you. don't overthink it, bro. it literally kills you. whenever you play a soul summon one, it's literally none of these are our deck. i'm sorry. you could be mad if you want. none of those are our deck. add enthralled to your deck. gain energy at the start of each turn. it must be played before that. no, no, no. that's a no. okay. they're all no's, bro.
-
56:31
lose 9 max hp at 3 apparitions. okay, those are not no's. those are yeses. intangible reduces all damage taken and hp lost to 1. this is the only... i know intangibility is like apparition is cracked and so it is by our one. i literally never take it. i'm gonna take it here because i think this ruins our run. this ruins our run. and this literally could be great but also doesn't ruin our run. so of course i'm gonna take it. and we still
-
57:03
want as much combat as possible i think in theory, okay, obviously you want to play this and i think you just want to play that but in theory we basically just want our site to one hit ko as many enemies as it can on the way up the more the more the merrier as far as domains go bro. i ain't gonna do it without my scythe on we don't have one. we have 187 damage another soul that draws fear. i don't even remember if i played fear and
-
57:46
well, here's what you do. you play two apparitions, which buys you two turns of intangibility. you play your scythe, because of course you play your scythe. you play a deathbringer. we have one more turn of intangibility. we got very little to worry about. soul me? buy me? upgrade nothing. good idea. wait, why is this turn so bad? i feel like i should have killed you faster. any chance we could duplicate our scythe without duplicating our whole deck? that would go kind of insane.
-
58:33
nah man, it's not to play. we want to dodge the shop because we want one more chance to play scythe. we want to draw scythe on turn one. no matter what we do, our whole run hinges upon scythe. we'd really like to get scythe. anybody out there got scythe? we'd like to make sure that you die, so we'll do it like that. wait, this is so bad because i could actually kill them before i get scythe and then we would miss a trigger. never mind. w exhausting our deck. that's a w play right there. w pen nib.
-
59:18
honestly, i do feel like a borrowed time could help us with our high startup costs. cards that would exhaust don't exhaust. okay. and then wait, wait, wait, wait, and then pivot to remove it. and now it's like, i mean, that might not have even been the best strategic play, but it feels like i owned you. so that's big. honestly, i think this turn is already good, but three apparitions does mean we don't have to worry about anything for three turns.
-
59:59
scythe not exhausting is so crazy. we could actually like grave blast it back now too. what is this man? what is this reggie? what we have no domain and no scythe as of right now. no, no hope no jobs. no cash, bro still no damage, which is nice. i think we will get hit once off of this but you have to play domain so yeah, we're kind of at the mercy of draw. that's a given i suppose we're gonna get hit man. i
-
1:00:36
you know what's crazy is that we're not even close to sword of the stone working. that's actually really funny. i am laughing. just draw scythe again, i suppose. i mean, we obviously want it. i'd like to hit you for 12. make a defend ethereal, play borrowed time, and then play two defense. now actually having more souls seems, oh my god, end playing it
-
1:01:21
we want to stall. we want to play it multiple times per phase. it's not just that it does damage, it's that it actually gets even stronger over time. admittedly, the apparitions... what you really want to do is give them retain, but them not exhausting due to ethereal is also crazy. this is awesome. we want to fight as many enemies as possible, so i really appreciate this. draw cards. i apologize for playing fast, but i had nine energy and like nine cards. what do you think i'm going to do? powers constitute 6 hp. okay, literally say less.
-
1:02:01
how do you feel about that? all i need is a scythe anyway. now would i like to play a scythe twice? duh, obviously. wait, this is crazy? because it literally doesn't make it cost any extra because it's already an x card? and then just draw... it might work, bro. draw and do it again. i can only draw one card. bro, you're supposed to say, my hands! you're supposed to say, i have too many cards in my hand! i think we do want more souls because we want to draw
-
1:02:49
we want to draw our scythe even faster or even to put it more accurately even more frequently w get a defend out of your deck. we don't need that garbage another apparition probably should have played domain all things considered would have saved us a little bit of energy. okay, this is obviously awesome scythe me for 107 get close to pen nib draw borrowed time. oh my god he did it the madman and then just play your scythe. i'm hoping oh
-
1:03:51
you can do it. you can do it. he's gonna get there. he's gonna get there. we're gonna get there. we're gonna figure it out. we're gonna get there. it's gonna happen. so that's just it. so i take damage. nah, i don't think so, tim. it's worth a potion to play scythe one more time. reptile trinket potion gives you strength this turn. three cards from your discard pile in your hand. actually essential for what we got going on. more combat. more combat. yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. more combat. duplicate your deck. i will not.
-
1:04:39
downgrade dirge. upgrade apparition. acceptable trait, even though dirge has obviously been great for us. mostly we want it for the souls. literally don't even have to play it, but might as well. huge apparition. huge domain. give it to me. give it to me, baby. you know what i'm talking about here? where's my scythe, bro? you do take half damage in the air, which is obviously horrendous for us, but... get weakened. definitely feels like that's sensible.
-
1:05:32
i think you stall right here. did a good amount of damage to you. you're doing 24 damage again. not awesome, but apparition means that it's awesome. get a soul in your draw pile. smack him. smack him. ora of time becomes ethereal. that's alright, i'll play it anyway. now scythe, dredge, scythe would be so peak, man. i'm literally not looking at how much damage it's doing. oh my god, it does 200 because we're on pen nib. i think it's actually better to strike
-
1:06:16
scythe still gets a kill. i was really hoping i'd be able to play two strikes or two scythes as a result of that, but so be it. sure man, an upgraded boro time. and then the elite, the elite could change everything. but turn one, apparition, domain, and at least a decent dirge is still pretty sick. four status cards. you being ethereal is ticking me off for sure, but might as well play a pull from below value. okay.
-
1:06:56
brother, it kind of happened except we don't have the energy for it. so we're just gonna scythe. wait, wait, wait, wait. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. dredge, scythe and borrowed time first. borrowed time, scythe it up for another 127. try to get over as much burn damage as possible. 40 damage. 40 damage, not awesome. there is one intangible left. we ain't getting it.
-
1:07:40
not getting to a pen nib, so i think just stand up to as much damage as you can. i'm not gonna stress too much over getting like a second scythe out there. on the other hand, the odds of us getting another scythe out there are pretty solid. and it worked. and we start with pen nib.
-
1:08:15
each combat you play, the first time you play a card that debuffs an enemy, double its effect. i don't think that's going to be incredible for us, but another dredge probably will be. okay. okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. every time you play a skill, he gets two strength. huge retain on the dredge. oh my god. so we're gonna, we're gonna put four vulnerability on you, i guess. make you lose 11 strength. half decent bodyguard, decent unleashed.
-
1:08:55
you know what we're doing? we're waiting for domain. we're waiting for borrowed time. i think it's just straight up domain, borrowed time. and then honestly, probably like i made a huge mistake. i'm not going to put it on the one that has retained. that would be insane. so it's domain. sorry to lose the apparition here, but it has to be done. it's domain scythe and then dredge fear scythe, maybe a borrowed time.
-
1:09:44
borrowed time still because we can play two apparitions which gives us apparition on the first turn that he comes back to life and we use intangible which means great turn not to draw scythe which means you play this. oh my god and then next turn draw scythe or oh, no, man. what have i done? okay, we got a scythe
-
1:10:31
i still feel pretty good about that to be honest. 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, this would... i mean it... i'm not that worried about not getting value out of a soul. i'm more worried about like if i could just ensure that i get something that gives you weakness that would... or do you a little vulnerability which literally doesn't matter now that i think about it because you're going to be intangible next turn anyway. still good. you are giving us some curses. okay, very important. we have pen nib.
-
1:11:11
we have a soul. i mean even pull from below is probably worth playing with pen nib, but obviously if you could just hold on till you got the site you'd be feeling pretty good too. and pull from below does 80. we didn't get the scythe. we still feel like you play it like that and then y'all what a run. what a run to get the site that doesn't exhaust
