gamers, we're back. we're back and we're up big. did you see? did i tell you we have ascension 10 unlocked with everyone now? at this point, let them fly boys. oh, the iron shud. we should all be so lucky. with this fella, i would happily transform a strike and a defend. havoc and inferno is a very slay the spire one coated start. play the top card of your draw pile and exhaust it.
-
0:29
but this inferno is literally better than combust though because you can trigger it multiple times on a single turn. interesting. i don't know how to feel about havoc. i also don't know why my game is kind of hitching a little bit, but that's okay. i do see our boss is the waterfall giant. anyway, there's no two bones about it y'all. ascension 10 is going to be a little bit of a beast. i want to make sure i'm not muted here. it's going to be a little bit of a beast.
-
0:57
without a doubt great just the card. i want to do exhaust not to just have like ptsd from playing slay the spire 1 and getting stuck on ascension 20 with the silent for like a year or something like that those were good times man but we're i'm setting the expectation that i'm the type of beast that plays this game to have fun. i
-
1:25
wait, evil eye could go crazy with this build. also gives us some block that could help us on the waterfall giant. all i'm saying, this was literally poorly played, but all i'm saying is that this is where the game really starts, man. this is where the game really begins. because fighting two bosses at the end of act 3 really requires a little bit of
-
1:53
interesting. really requires like a little bit of specificity, like having a way to heal between bosses like pantograph is pretty important or a potion that could give you a lot of healing. bloodletting, i mean draw two cards at the start of your turn, exhaust the top card of your draw pile goes crazy for evil eye but a little risky. whereas bloodletting literally is two energy and also gives us
-
2:21
six damage to all enemies if we played combust. which to me is like, well it's awesome, let's put it that way. now the thing is we don't have to play bloodletting here and we wanna make sure we're healing as much as possible. so that ideally we could not have to rest at some campfires here and actually get some good progress done. hello ryuka. hello marta. hello marta. here i am. what's up?
-
2:58
you don't come down here that often, you're okay. legends is good, but lose 1 hp, deal technically 15 damage to all enemies. i don't know if we even have to build any more aoe, which is really rare at this point to be saying that. all that is shrug it off, which just appears to be good. turns out drawing cards is kind of peak. as much as i would like to damage you and gain one strength, i also feel like taking only three damage instead of taking like eight damage is a lot
-
3:31
uh, it's very conducive for us. let's exhaust a strike, unfortunately. this one stings because we haven't even gotten to play our combust yet, so the bloodletting i literally played, uh, for no reason. just to be a fool, really. alright, run it down mid. um, i actually think this is going pretty badly so far, if i may be so bold and so honest with you.
-
3:58
but the trade off to that is that i also feel like there's a disproportionate amount of aoe elites on the first floor. so we still might be able to get away. let's try it, man. we still might be able to get away with fighting some elites and not resting. but it's a little spicy. there's no doubt about it.
-
4:23
doubling the strength gain is definitely something i'd like to do before the boss, but before then, i think we need some scaler damage gain. it's a great opportunity to use a skill potion, man. i would say just give me some flat taunting. take as little damage as possible, set you up for a position where hopefully i can kill you next time. combust? no combust. no combust. i literally have to do this to stall you. or wait, were you? no, you were not already vulnerable. okay.
-
5:05
smart, smart, smart. no, we don't need to gain the strength. it's good to gain the strength, but you only need to spend the hp to gain strength if you're on a longer fight, hypothetically. now it turns out it would have actually been an awesome decision to have done that and we literally just died on a run that i actually think was awesome. i think we had an incredible setup there to be honest with you.
-
5:32
let's run the ironclad back. if we had randomed anybody else, we might have thought differently about that. but of course, who doesn't like the ironclad, man? if i may be so bold, removing two defends on the ironclad who already has burning blood, like, i think we can make our hp back in no time, bro.
-
5:52
and i mean in no time and then we basically got like 250 gold worth of value, but if i may be absolutely insane i think it's actually better than getting 250 gold because we also get all the turns that we didn't draw those defense which admittedly could have just saved me from taking a bunch of damage, but we're still like breaking even and then it would now the thing is it's not that we don't want to have a defend list deck we want to add in better defense man and
-
6:23
eel six draw cards until you draw a non attack. i mean, i don't think it's awesome necessarily for what we've got going on right now, but i don't think it's necessarily bad. every five cards you add to your deck heal 20, 318 gold greed. i'm willing to do it because that adds a card to our deck which allows us to get closer to healing and then cut your curse. i would happily add a flash of steel.
-
6:59
whenever you play an attack at a random attack into your hand, not totally sure about that one. we have lots of card draw. we don't really want to duplicate anything. our deck isn't that good. i mean, you could duplicate a duplicate a flash of steel and feel pretty good about it maybe but i'm gonna do it man. it adds another card to our deck as well. and you know what? i mean, at some point having a blood wall might be peak plus we just healed like crazy off of that.
-
7:35
give me the max hp. give me the max hp. give me the max hp. give me the max hp. i'll stop it right there. i think that was a pretty good improvement. i'm feeling very aggressive here. horrible draw, if i may say so myself. absolutely colossally bad draw considering how many cheap attacks i have that also draw cards. but now i don't think we have to play a bash just given the way that you can only take a certain amount of damage per turn.
-
8:09
now this turn you might want to have played a bash, but you know what? what's done is done. how much damage we taken? eleven. doesn't even bother me. that's big. that's huge. obviously we'll blood wall on that because we're doing 22 damage which is criminal. obviously we're gonna hit you. obviously we're gonna pillage on you. get a lot of draw out of that.
-
8:35
put up one block, next time we're gonna kill you. i really, i mean, i'm not gonna fixate on it. i would really like to not have to rest. but then again, we have no aoe whatsoever. enemies with vulnerable take even more damage. choosing an attack to enchant with sharp two. i would happily make this, i mean, this flash of steel is crazy good now. i'm gonna get a little aggressive, man.
-
9:06
i mean, 10 damage in a draw is a nightmare card if you're the opposition. bash getting upgraded without me having to rest for it is also huge. we need to add four cards. cooler heads have to prevail at some point, okay? cooler heads have to prevail. i didn't even realize there were two elites on this path either. so i'll tell you, we desperately need, huge, huge, we desperately need to add some good defense to this deck.
-
9:37
another blood wall might be able to get us through this in a jam, but we got a certain assortment of problems here i get a good power maybe i mean of these probably demon form even though it's slow will put us in a position where? we'll be getting more damage out of that than we will at a jug or not. i think it's gotta be blood wall. i'm afraid
-
10:06
and then a bash and a flash and 17 damage so we don't take 24 damage seems peak. we're actually gonna make it through this one feeling pretty darn good about ourselves. i think that my god, i was so wrong about pillage. it's actually crazy for us. whenever you play a power draw card, let me get a true grit.
-
10:30
a power draw card. upgrade to or remove? i gotta try for the upgrade on this one. it hitting two non default cards is so huge for us. so this is the nightmare. even if you can't see what that enemy at the back is doing, you know like, you know it's gonna be a nasty time. we gotta take care of him real quick. we don't have anything that does a ton of damage though, which is the worst part of it all. my flashes please. okay, drawing the flashes is actually huge.
-
11:07
then exhausting like a basic strike cuz we need to have lots of kills out here to do more damage. let's throw a weakness potion on you just to take three damage off the field. i don't think it's highly efficient, but i think we got to do something. holy cow, how much damage is out here? 21, not great, bob. but it really isn't great, bob. true grit still big, cut a basic strike.
-
11:41
i think we'll try to stall but i understand it's a little touchy. ideally, we'd get two kills on this one. okay, hear me out. start here, draw a strike that gets a kill and you can still play an upgraded blood wall. and then we definitely would love to hit you for 11 somehow. i don't know if i have any cards literally that can do that. so i'm not gonna stress about it. you can hit you for 10 very easily.
-
12:15
and then we need to hit you for eight to get the kill. takes eight damage off the field. i think it's a no brainer, man. and then just cut greed out of here. we made it through. we're also, we're presumably gonna take whatever card you give me. and then we're gonna, that's a great heal as well.
-
12:35
i don't think spite's gonna do it for us. evil eye with true grit, maybe there's a synergy there. i was hoping to have one more fight so i could get an easy heal off of adding a card. we will output damage pretty quickly though, even though we don't scale. we draw through our whole deck so quickly and do damage for free. i'm confident that your steam eruption
-
13:02
we might encounter a situation where it's not that bad, but we'll probably lose a little bit of hp on the way up, which obviously we have to be careful of. gotta be done lads, gotta be done. didn't have to be done now that i look at it. that's the turn we want to see right there. and then we want to get vulnerability going again as fast as possible. pommel on you. could pillage on you. can't get the vulnerability going, that's okay.
-
13:36
we need to save this potion for after he's dead, hopefully, if we get the opportunity to do so. even that might not be enough to save us cuz we're gonna need to draw every block in the dang deck. yeah, i think we're going down, man. well, let's see, 41 of those. kill you next turn, you're gonna be on like 40, 44. and we've got the cards we want this turn. scary thought. okay, no matter, just don't even think about it. okay, think about it cuz you drew no blocks. bring me back.
-
14:18
wouldn't have saved us regardless, okay. if i may, can i say something? i literally think that deck was awesome too. i think that deck was incredible. so what i'm trying to say is i don't know how we lost. there must be some error somewhere. act one boss drops two relics. choose a rare at an injury. shop is pretty far away, but that could still be awesome. start of your turn, put a random attack from your discard pile into your hand and upgrade it. i mean, offering is just a crazy card. offering is insane.
-
15:02
that does put you in a position to be fair, where if you take zero damage but you played your offering, then you're breaking even on hp. so you have to be, have to is a strong word. it behooves you to be prudent about when you play it and when you don't. we don't have to play it on every single fight. uppercut's a great card. i'm bringing myself back to brass tacks, man. let me get a colorless reward.
-
15:35
thrumming hatchet seems insane. to be able to get an 11 damage attack that comes back to hand every single time, like that's outrageous. so we've made our deck better by avoiding the slimes. we took out the one that was gonna give us even more slimes. didn't get hatchet about to take a bunch of damage, no brainer. absolute no brainer that you do that. and then next turn you're already taking 11 damage from the hatchet. we're gonna bash you first and so you're dead. great fight, absolutely wonderful fight. headbutt.
-
16:07
i just don't think you need it right now. it is a decent attack though. but i think right now this feels like a thinner deck to me to draw hatchet faster. 100% you go for the chosen cheese as soon as possible. and then we just ideally i have the fence in the deck, okay? don't troll me. a third of my deck is defense. so when you don't give me a defend in the first five cards, i started to think that there's a little something crazy going on, walt. either way, we didn't spend offering, so that's good. honestly,
-
16:39
toss me plating, i've been a plating doubter but toss me plating. so what goes crazy uppercut gets like twice as good without a doubt. and then you probably wanna go hatch it after that, but we're playing a little higher risk here. not drawing hatchet early is a troll. and then this fight being like so much harder than the first version of this fight, even though it's only a couple of nodes after is a little devastating to be honest, but it is what it is, man. it is what it is.
-
17:15
12 damage. surely, surely this kills you. i'd really like to, if possible, get out of this fight without playing offering. 16 damage does not kill you. that's okay, we wait on that. hp management's the name of the game here. flame barrier's a disgusting card. absolutely disgusting card. complimentary, by the way. hear me out? i'd love to remove my injury. i actually think taking fairy in a bottle makes way more sense here, and then be super aggressive on the way up.
-
17:57
orichalcum is kind of big here too. god, i hate these guys. let's pop a strength potion so we have potion space. literally spending 6 hp to gain 5 block. you're doing what? 14 damage? and it gives us 2 energy. we get to actually get you one turn closer to death. i think that was insNLy intelligent of me for once. you're dead. we literally will not use fairy in a jar, which is huge.
-
18:30
i forgot about oricalkum too, oricalkum obviously doing amazing work for us there. it's a hatchet flame barrier angle without a doubt. flame barriers is destroying these guys, holy cow. i am a true grit enjoyer, keeps the deck thin, decent block keeps the deck thin. now, i'll own up to it man. if we die to mauler and end up using fairy in a bottle, i would consider that a huge dub for us.
-
19:02
i honestly think that would not be a devastating circumstance in the slightest. i also think we don't have to worry about it cuz it's not gonna happen. pillage, i think i'm reading the card backwards every time. i'm reading the words and thinking i'm understanding them. but the consequence that i'm drawing as a result of it is the opposite of how it actually works. it makes you draw a bunch of attacks. the more attacks you have on your deck, the better the card actually is. obviously, we wanna use offering on this fellow.
-
19:37
i fully expect to use fairy in a jar here by the way. i fully expect not to now that i look at his hp and the fact that he's still vulnerable. i fully expect not to use fairy in a jar. i fully expect to not have to worry about him at all and to be able to take fairy in a jar even further. how old from beyond is aoe? if we could hit it with true grit, we'd be stoked. you're so annoying. the slithering stranger holds me down. baby turn.
-
20:27
literally don't take damage though, so who's the baby now? you definitely do wanna spend here though, cuz we wanna get rid of constricted before it gets to be like a serious freaking problem. and it's getting close. i mean, look at the draw we get off of that, man, that's crazy. and we got a lot of slimed in here, but even now, to be honest with you, we have eight block. i don't mind taking one damage here to get through a leaf slime a little bit faster.
-
20:58
i would happily take another true grit to be honest with you. now this fella, we want to do a lot of damage quick. i think you stay all in and if you lose fairy in a bottle, it's not actually losing it, it's using it. that is what i would say. that's what i'd say and i would be 100% honest about that fact. that is the potion being used to its best possible effect. so we would be thrilled. we'd be thrilled if that were the case.
-
21:26
not to mention, or a calcum and plating working very well together. we don't need to take zero damage. we just need to take little enough damage that we win the fight. so how do i do that? start with the defend, play a strike, play a strike. hope that the true grit hits the howl 25% chance it hit a strike that might even be better. might be better than a bunch of damage for free. just don't think too hard about it.
-
22:02
this is where we expect things to start to get a little spicy. you're gonna use my fairy in a bottle, which by the way, is the whole reason i bought it. and then we get a turn to really go crazy on you. in fact, we had two turns to go crazy on you. i would have liked to have gone a little bit more crazy. i'm not gonna lie to you cuz this term we only get to play one card flame barrier. ew.
-
22:37
i mean it's nice to take the one that brings the damage back to hand, obviously. that would have been my second choice without a doubt, but i think we had to play bash for the vulnerability. and now we get howl from beyond for free, which is obviously really good. we're gonna be ringing, but surely, surely we have a card that finishes the job. we don't, but we don't die.
-
23:03
and now we will get a card, we'll get multiple cards that in conjunction with one another finish the job. okay, so i think first floor, that ferry in a jar, they got a lot of gravity assists. okay, it was that was as far as i'm concerned, that was steph curry. okay, the gravity assists are going through the roof. hang on, we got lots of discord messages to check here. we take those. um, let me think about
-
23:35
i mean energy wise, too energy to get an energy at the start of each turn and also getting this upgraded quick would be good. we don't really have a barricade play as of right now. plating, i guess plating would stack pretty nicely with barricade. but especially when plating is upgraded but because it's 21, it's 21 block to play plating i guess. wait if it gives you six plating.
-
24:00
mangle's interesting too, i think pyre is a little bit more applicable. but also, cop, i don't really know. i don't really know. lots of relics for not taking cards is nice. but then also pale's legion has been so crazy. and i have a pension for these items that like, relics i should say, that look kind of bad but end up being sort of awesome. i love an item like a,
-
24:31
like a tiny house or something like that where you're like this looks like garbage but then when you take it you have a better chance to win basically i'm not like other girls is what i'm trying to say give me this you're gonna need to true grit but first the weekend maybe we don't need the true grit maybe we just kill you instead okay that's way smarter and we haven't used pale's legion yet which is big
-
25:07
or is it? because i'm about to take a bunch of damage regardless. and also i did because i played true grit. didn't realize how much strength you gain on turn two, man. that's kind of devastating with it. still, we're okay. i think it's none, but i'll admit that a thunderclap... thunderclap is a nice little aoe helper. i talk a lot about aoe, but it's only because it matters, man. i promise it does.
-
25:48
we have one turn to go in on you next term we get pails legion again, correct? okay. i was double checking i don't know if i can do enough damage. i certainly can't i can gain 18 block we don't really need the extra energy from pyre and then plating makes up the difference okay, so we're we're gonna be like neutral on this one. i think this run it's scrappy man. it stands a chance let's put it that way and keep in mind every time we fight. i
-
26:26
we're gaining max hp because of the cheese, which is mostly going to be applicable. i honestly think we just take four damage and save pales legion is mostly going to be applicable after beating a boss because after beating a boss going to the next act will heal for a certain percentage of our max hp. but i guess what i'm trying to say is it matters. it matters to me at least, but we pay a price right now trying to make it happen.
-
27:01
certainly we want to do that. something like this. we'll be taking like three damage. i think i would, i can beat you without taking any more damage, i think. that's my dream at least. 50 50. oh, we take those any day of the week. 26 damage coming out. truly devastating and definitely makes me appear to be a fool for not being more aggressive to you earlier.
-
27:33
16 damage. okay, so i can't i can't really do anything here. i played a worst block which is a total misplay and i could have played the true grit but so be it. you know what? give me a stomp. i think we're suffering from a little bit of anemic damage. we don't have like an amazing damage dealer. just that stomp in and of itself is gonna be helpful, man. i really really don't want to rest. i really really really don't want to rest.
-
28:10
i severely don't want to rest because we have so many cards that would behoove us to upgrade. we have draw. that's very nice. it didn't draw exactly what i wanted to because what i wanted is for it to draw cards that are good instead of cards that kind of suck. okay, i mean that's insane. to draw one attack in a bunch of days is a little crazy, but we're not going to crash out. we're literally going to play that for value.
-
28:44
you know what it might be? this is kind of like a late game maneuver or not a late game maneuver, but like a what's the word for something that is a hail mary maybe is a good way to describe it. it's third and long on our 22 yard line and we're down by five points with three seconds on the clock. so you know we're going, you know, everybody run. it's all flyer routes.
-
29:08
we upgrade our armaments card so that it upgrades all other cards in our hand. and then hope to draw the cards that we wish we'd upgraded actually at the campfire when we upgraded armaments. here's what i'm thinking, start with this. hit you again. armaments, stone armor, and go in on them. plating takes us to the point where you get stunned. and then beating this boss is gonna give us a stellar relic, like a gremlin horn or something. and then we're gonna,
-
29:45
they're all gonna be sorry. let's put it that way. hmm if i if i may level with you i think it's like the worst stomp in human history. so instead i'm gonna play pyre for future considerations lagavulin definitely. i mean the slumbering beetle, but they're definitely coming back to life and doing 18 damage to us with very limited recourse. oh wait, never mind. i will be taking less damage than i thought huge
-
30:23
catch them, hit them like this, easiest stomp of my days. maybe, are you? this is not an elite. i got so hyped like this. i even said this guy's gonna give us a relic. bro, where's my relic? what relic bro? this isn't an elite young pup. this is just a fella. it has elite energy. i'm not even saying it's as hard as an elite. it has elite energy but it ain't no elite.
-
30:52
soldier stew, all cards containing strike. oh, that's a potion. i got so excited thinking it was a relic even after everything that i said man. colossus could actually save us. i told my how you doing, bud. i'm gonna take a chance on it. okay. we got two potions. we got a pocket full of potions. let's give it a try. certainly not the start you want to see, especially when we could have just played pyre. i guess we did a lot of extra damage because of the stew there at least.
-
31:33
you not being vulnerable is crazy, man. the plating out there. i'm fairly optimistic we're gonna die here. this will at least give us one energy back to do nothing with. but i say that knowing i could be wrong. no matter what, i think you gotta go in with offering. you wanna have the energy to play your cards. and in theory, six health shouldn't be like that much here. you need to try. you drew pyre right away.
-
32:18
i was hoping he would draw like seven strikes first man. free howl which gives us energy. pales legions not ready. let's dump uh honestly a i mean a thrumming hatchet does come back to hand. a strike hits twice though and you gotta keep a bash for the vulnerability. 18 block 45 damage but you're gonna do a lot less to me actually. you're gonna do 21 damage which doesn't matter to me at all.
-
32:56
might as well just hold. come on, man, we can get there. what are you doing now? nothing, nothing is, that's perfect. i love when you do no damage. that went okay. pendulum, every three turns draw a card. maybe pyre in the whirlwind does seem to make some sense and also solve some problems with aoe. bag of marble is very interesting. i'm just gonna level with you. i think we have to rest. i think if we don't rest, the video's basically over. i couldn't do that to you. pyre me. dump a basic.
-
33:30
you're doing what, 24 damage? whatever, dump a basic. i gotta figure out, because i have to hit you. i have to hit you, which i don't like. huge. but i want to avoid getting as many daisies in the deck as is possible, obviously. let's draw a card for the next few turns. you being vulnerable is very important. i think we can strike, and then we get one whirlwind and then a stomp as well. i think we're just gonna have to try to draw through the daisies, man. yikes.
-
34:16
crazy play, i think basically playing armaments is four block when you look at the delta because we get six out of oracalcum. so i think you don't play it because it also would have used pales legion. so we want to save pales legion for like a more productive use like something like that. and this is actually a lot better. you can strike, strike stomp
-
34:45
and then pray for a true grit to hit a howl or just hit them one more time for nine. man, i think you've got it. that's a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush type situation, i think. now, i was just gonna say we're hoping to get whirlwind and then we're hoping to get anything. i really, i didn't do the math. i just assumed it would kill you, which is obviously not the right play.
-
35:15
i think another stomp is okay. cascade is more fun for sure, but i mean we're on ascension 20 bro, forget about fun. literally remove two defends. we'll do the sandwich method here. then we get an ultimate defend, works better with pales legion. they take nine damage at best. this is literally not bad. that was completely fine. these guys could have been omega annoying. we didn't even have to play offering which is beautiful. do we need
-
35:52
i'm just worried, who's the boss? kaiser crap? it's literally probably the best boss that we could go up against because they're aoe, but i'm still not confident we're making it. i'm even less confident obviously about the third floor, but hear me out here. i hate to exhaust the pillage, but it might be the move. because imagine this hits a howl. imagine it hits a howl and we do like
-
36:23
16 damage to each of these individuals with 210 hp. could be the move, man. an early armament, sure, man. give me a flame barrier. you move to face you, play a whirlwind which lets you play a stomp for free. w game sense, man. on boss fights, i think you just always want to play off ramp. and then we want to turn and face you, and turn and face you. but we do it now, you know what? we don't, because we want to kill this individual first. the rocket individual has to die first.
-
37:04
and we have lots of ambient aoe that'll get the other guy lower. okay, so you can't see well, but he's doing 38 damage to me. not ideal. let's weaken. i don't think it's a speed potion situation. we just don't play a block, take 28 damage. get a bunch of attacks that get added into our draw pile for free. conflagration. another pillage. oh no, we already had pillage and a breakthrough. 25 damage. wait, this is big, man. first off, damage yourself to hurt everyone.
-
37:38
pillage and draw one card. obviously hatch it. ultimate defend, colossus and then don't even turn around man. not that we had the option but we want to stay on this. basically turning around means dealing damage to you. just keep the damage on you. huge armaments to cut the lead to 42. i literally thought i had one extra energy there. that's my bad but we can get there.

flame barrier, 13 damage. the thing is, i don't want to use pale's legion on this turn. pale's legion is too powerful to just be tossing it out there to avoid taking 3 damage. now on this turn, if we don't kill you, which we will, so never mind. that was really good. oh my god, i can't believe we're kind of locked in here, man. primal force. all attacks in your hand become giant rocks.
-
38:47
if only we could find a way to like make them cost zero because 116 damage for one is pretty good or maybe get a bonus out of transforming or something. not yet healing you. i don't think we need it. we have burning blood, we have lots of max hp. one, two punches obviously also really good especially because when upgraded it works twice and we have the energy to play it. i guess now that i think about it, primal force
-
39:16
pillage, which draws more attacks than you would expect. and pyre gives you a lot of energy to play giant rocks, man. i still think one two punch, it's just never steered me wrong, man. we don't have diadem. three cards in your deck get swift 3 or we get two potions per fight. honestly, i think our best chance looks like scamming some elites for some relics that would heal us after each boss.
-
39:51
okay, so we got scammed. we do have a two elite path. that's what i get for trying to be greedy, man. maybe there's a lesson in there. absolutely wonderful start though. i mean, we're healing off this. they might as well have had one hp, bro. passion strike. we don't exhaust that much. who's our boss? first boss is queen and test subject. yeah, we don't exhaust enough to, i think, make that like a win condition. and at 28 cards, we have decent draw, but still, we don't want to be like too
-
40:29
i want to be overly greedy. it's just like six of one, half a dozen of the other. and one, two punches for one turn, right? this turn, this turn. okay. i thought maybe you could carry it turn to turn, but you need an armament into an offering. metamorphosis sets you up well for the future because the cards are free. we should take two damage to get pyre out there. pyre is going to be important. we need to start putting some damage downfield on the fella. you know what?
-
41:12
w speed, give me 16 block. do as much damage as you can. i think i've realized we haven't done enough damage quickly. this fight could be a little nasty for us. two strength, wait, wait. bash, two strength this turn. 36 damage. pillage and hopefully get a good block to use with pale's legion. wait, we're gonna kill you. stomp goes crazy for free. cinder kills you. that could have gone so much worse. lucky tonic is a crazy potion, man. we gotta save that.
-
41:48
and then this fight is free, yes, which lets us heal. thrash is kind of like a possible win condition, especially doubled up. so i think we thank the game for our fortune there. royally approved, this card has innate and retain. okay. i mean, acabeko can be crazy too, but this is maybe we can get both. what needs innate and retain?
-
42:23
i mean offering definitely gives you a great start but i almost think you don't mind when you drive. you know what? probably starting getting thrash going as quickly as possible makes sense to me and then removing an injury and we can still afford acabeco. no we can't. we're just slightly off
-
42:51
i'm not gonna take one strength if we have another shop. we do, we have another shop we're guaranteed to get on our elite path. let's keep it going. this lucky potion literally could be worth saving for the bosses. i'm realizing the error of my ways in taking thrash second or taking thrash at my starting hand every single time because now i'm like, i don't want to play thrash, bro. are you kidding me?
-
43:18
i want to play uppercut, but we can get away with it. unless this would just get us a kill 19 damage and then six damage twice 31 damage doesn't get us a kill. okay, well, we set up a beautiful thrash for the future. and then ultimate defend. you're doing 28. play all your cards lose zero max hp sucks to not get aoe off that but that's okay. i and just to be clear, i do think wow, this is gonna be horrible.
-
43:56
i do think that offering early is also really good. but i think that thrash early is gonna be so much more useful for boss fights. i don't know if there's any other way around this. this gets three kills and we lose one, we lose two max hp. we lost a lot of max hp over that fight. i'm not being flippant. okay, this is one we got to clutch up on. i would say probably worth using a flex potion. and then i definitely do think,
-
44:35
make them vulnerable, but then double up on thrash so that it gets out of control. and then look at what thrash has now, 31 damage twice, that's really good. play whirlwind and honestly, i know i said it was boss worthy, this is the boss. as far as i'm concerned, this guy's the boss right now. we gotta get through him. we still have pales legion too, which is crazy. armaments upgrades all cards. i literally think you just hit him.
-
45:12
my reasoning is, pale's legion might be way more valuable than nine block on the next turn. so send your apology form. you know where to send the apology form, i guess is what i'm gonna say. we're not gonna be able to play the stomp anyway, so let's exhaust it, smack you for six damage and then put up as much block as we can. now you're doing 40 damage, that's also obviously really bad. put up as much block as you can. thrash, we need you, we need you right now. didn't get ya.
-
45:45
but we can, we can uppercut to weaken and i don't know, not the right play. just play flame barrier colossus. you take one damage and then you get thrash on this turn which you freaking did by the way, you absolute legend. frozen egg, all powers would be upgraded. i think it's a pass for me. we have to get through one more elite which is kind of crazy on this nightmare path. i mean this guy's free which is awesome.
-
46:16
start of your third turn gain some stats. well, this is we need this we need headbutt to bring thrash back. that literally could be like plus 200 damage on the boss fight. i think you thrash it took what did it take anyway? it took the right one and then flame barrier. this is just a basic andy. okay, it's the thrash play that we've been doing is just so slow though. is the is the principal problem with it.
-
47:00
i think it is gonna be awesome on boss fights, but i think it's gonna suck when we're not on a boss fight. that lets us get stomp out, which is huge. as much as i'd like metamorphosis, i just don't think it's in the cards for us, man. we need the block too darn bad. at least we got pyre out there. now you're doing 19 damage. we have pale's legion. anytime you hear we have pale's legion, you should be pogging the frick up. basically for us, that's a free turn. and then we get thrash with a one two punch.
-
47:41
with a flame barrier that blocks for 9? alright, still pretty good damage. you're doing nothing this turn. that's ideal, man. i think it's a 1 2 punch on a strike, which makes both stomps cheap enough to play. i don't know if i can do 37 damage in one turn, which is kind of... i can do 36 damage in one turn. i could now kill you. okay, big, big, big, big, big.
-
48:14
i still bludgeon is so much more valuable the earlier you get it. now this is the nightmare. this is the freaking nightmare. you need to play the stop. it's heartbreaking, but it's actually the right play. and i think you use an energy potion because the stomp is the right play on these fellows. and then you use the thrash to suck up the damage from the strike at least. but wait, this is still really scary. we're going to die.
-
48:53
yeah, yeah, we're gonna die. i don't know, we're gonna have pales legion next turn. if we could live for one more turn, who knows man? wait, he exhausted my cards for me. it's obviously a very dangerous situation. there's a part of me that thinks you'd like one, two punch whirlwind, which would do 24 damage. or do you just, whirlwind just does 18 damage, which is not very good.
-
49:29
we need to wipe you, but we also want to play a good block. you know what i mean? we have to wipe you. the question is do you whirlwind for three or do you probably start with offering, man? not what you want to see because we didn't get one of our primo blocks. whirlwind for five gets one kill, then we just pass away. whirlwind for four gets one kill, and then we pass away. so we got to think our way out of this one. well,
-
50:19
i did my part. i don't think that was that bad. i think that honest if i can say something and it's within the game's rights to do it. we got screwed by the fur coat like look at this map man the fact that all of the x's got put so far apart and the one with the double elite also had two elites that didn't have x's. i think we low rolled that a little bit to be fair but i do think there's a win in there without a doubt but for now i'm gonna go record another one. thanks for watching. see you next time. later.
