last one ticked me off, i'm not gonna lie, man. and it's my fault, but it ticked me off. so we run it back as the silent. give me, i want to shiv, sly deck, man. shiv and sly.
-
0:15
okay, adrenaline's crazy. i mean that's gain one energy, draw two cards. yeah, yeah. yeah, i think we'll be taking that one. i think we'll be taking that. i think we'll be upgrading it. and i think we're going to take the ball and i think we're going to score. it's called matt hasselbeck overtime gambit 2002. look it up, man. you wouldn't get it. now, adrenaline, once it's played, is gone. so now we're just using the starter deck here. we got a lot of
-
0:47
got an uphill battle to do a little bit more damage to you, but look at that. it wasn't so bad. what do we like? i think a sucker punch in a vacuum. pretty good card now if i'd known.
-
1:03
was right there. i love a dramatic entrance man, can i be honest? i want to rid my deck of this injury but having a dramatic entrance this early like really appeals to me and will set us up so nicely for combat and especially the freaking elites you get on the first floor which so many of the annoying ones are aoe. i'll take it up my sleeve on that one. no real incentive to to fight enemies over question marks i think.
-
1:35
i think this is the incentive now is that we can get to elites. we would like to get to elites. now i'm trying to think it's 12 damage from up my sleeve. hard to play for two energy unless you have extra value out of a shiv or nothing better to do with that but obviously a good shiv enabler. i do like footwork man. i mean the longer the fight goes on the better it is. this is a really question mark rich path though but we could get
-
2:10
two elites if we go this way. just take some cards that will give you the chance to hopefully kill elites. we still, we don't really have much offense in the deck. of course i'm thrilled to have dramatic entrance. and the sucker punch has actually been kind of peak for us as well, but now we're kind of running up against it. but take it a little, take it six extra damage here. we're certainly not in rest territory again. i don't think at least.
-
2:53
46, i still wouldn't think we would have to rest if we can add some good cards to the deck. just a uniquely bad matchup there. i really don't want to take poison stab. 13 damage, 2 less for each. i mean, what about taking a precise cut and then just running it as late as possible? seems like you could do worse, right? 37 damage turn 1, 6 damage turn 2. huge weakness.
-
3:33
and then precise cut for 13 damage bro, it actually worked out. this we don't have much draw. up my sleeve can make follow through hit twice but i'm not 100% sure about that. what do you think about it? pinpoint really seems like it would be best in a slide deck. i think it's a sad pass and then might seem crazy man but i mean this this dramatic entrance has kind of been carrying us so far which is a scary thought.
-
4:12
also doesn't really help us that much against you. i mean 15 damage is 15 damage at the end of the day. so is 19 damage by the way. some people might even say 19 damage is a little bit more using a potion for five block greater than sign. but we did six extra damage to you as a result of getting to where we got to. so who's the loser now? who's the loser now mom? we have to go in and if we have to rest, we have to rest. but ideally you'll just give us a potion that makes it so we don't have to rest. fruit juice.
-
4:49
molten egg early, awesome obviously. let's let a dagger throw into the deck. are we a bad enough dude to do this? no matter what, i think you want to go that way first. oh, this is horrible. i hate these guys. what if we try the fight like that instead? instead of focusing one right off the bat. definitely play that holy cow. redistributes four extra damage onto the flag. coned. dump it. play it. play it.
-
5:35
you're dead. why would you play that first? regen potion! wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. it's so greedy though to just upgrade. man, i think you gotta rest and then if you don't have to rest later then awesome, but give me one of five random cards. we're not really draw this card. we're not really anything. we're kind of like a first turn andy.
-
6:05
add in a finisher. i think we can find a way to make it work. i literally just took it because it's uncommon, by the way. when in doubt, rely on the heuristic. i'm still gonna play it early. i would really rather not have to deal with this individual. i don't have enough energy. i don't know why i thought i was gonna have enough energy. i know you're like, why didn't you kill him? well, i'd rather go in on this turn when i could start with better econ against one of these. the wrigglers. and by the way, i'm sure you're typing.
-
6:51
that i got the order messed up on these guys. trust me when i say that i don't disagree. i always forget, i think people in my chat have been going like, four, four, two, three, one, four, two, three, one. and i think that it's not, it's for the eels, but i've just started using that for literally every single fight that has any form of aoe on it. so i apologize, but it's the way it's going to be for now. we'll be forced to reckon with that eventually.
-
7:25
we actually did so well with the regen potion here, man. we got really lucky. assuming that i can kill you before getting hit another 12 times. should be very doable. there you go. that was not bad at all. vyra seems pretty good, man. add sly to his skill in hand. i mean, well laid plans is peak, man. oh my god, we gotta hit this guy a thousand times. oh no, no, no. okay, that's the only reason i went for four shivs instead, is that it helps us get through slippery faster.
-
8:00
yes, maybe no, because this is like such a good damage dealer for us. certainly it's got to be rolling boulder, man. it seems like rolling boulder will kill you. i just have to punch through, well, everything first. got to punch through all that slippery. we did six extra damage because of parrying shield, which i've previously heavily looked down on, but actually seems like it might be doing incredible work for us here. you got to hit for 36, man. you don't have a choice there.
-
8:40
alright, now with 20 damage, 15. okay, it doesn't double it adds five now that i think about it. still, oh you can literally see the damage down there. okay, up my sleeve, finisher hits for 36. the boulder helped of course, but give me two inky shivs and then thank no opportunity for tescatara's ember here. this is huge. sacrifice card rewards to pale, two sacrifices gets you a relic.
-
9:18
we definitely don't want to take too many extra cards. the question is, is our deck good enough to do damage? like it doesn't scale that well. pales legion is good too. i'm gonna take pales wing. and then i think we should go elite heavy, man, with the caveat that we also want to hit that shop. and probably this, well no, this shop right here. sorry, my mouse pad got a little askew there. holy cow. i mean, i'll just say it, man. we basically dumpster you right out of the gate.
-
9:54
i'll take three damage to save a fire potion. that doesn't bother me in the slightest. that's totally fine. we're not a big drawer. i think that's a sacrifice. two sacrifices being a relic is crazy, man. give me a zero cost card. i'm okay with prepared. okay. assassinate, dramatic entrance, adrenaline, up my sleeve still good, two of these ices you,
-
10:30
two of these puts you in a spot where we only got to hit you with two of those and you're literally two attacks away from dying to three if they're inky shivs apparently cloak and dagger pretty good man for what we're trying to do and we have added zero block. we'll just get the relic off the next one double it and give it to the next guy. tough choices. it's really is between lee's waffle which would take us to 82 health and blood vial which will heal us after each combat. i'm gonna go lee's waffle on this reason
-
11:10
17 more hp to deal with this upcoming elite fight, maybe a better chance to rest in the future or to avoid a rest, i should say. so basically the exact opposite of what i was trying to say. but are you feeling that like we have a pretty confident stance here? like we're kind of stanced up for where we stand on act two. i'm not playing scared. okay, then wake him up, bro.
-
11:40
obviously we hold a sucker punch. inky shivs are coming out next turn, i think. yeah, yeah, yeah. it'd be nice to be able to play a finisher and up my sleeve, but obviously not gonna happen. you're weak for two turns. finisher's gonna be a big hit. sucks to take the 13 damage, but not the end of the world, especially because we just got a bunch of hp, man. cloak and dagger's gonna be big. do we really just maybe play one of those and then four shivs?
-
12:22
i guess you could retain it until you had a finisher ready too, man. and then play it because well then it never gets cheaper. so maybe that's not the play there. you're done lad. okay, gigantification potion. next attack does triple damage. that with finisher seems crazy. i'll level with you the deck's getting too thick but it's gotta be done. this is what we live for. an assassinate and then a gigantification potion on a dramatic entrance.
-
12:58
and a finisher and it's the easiest boss fight of all time. we got snekko skull oh thank god and stone calendar certainly we feel compelled to upgrade start with adrenaline we got lots of good upgrade targets okay a bag of prep and a buttload of gold an extra inky shiv matters a lot we have very limited block
-
13:27
i'll acknowledge that our block is on the low side, but we play our cards. you already know the vibe off of these ones. that's pretty good, man. we're gonna want to play a footwork. getting a weakness out of that is truly insane. we're taking 10 damage and we did 110 damage. no other turn will be like that, so don't get too excited.
-
13:56
but if i'm being honest, like this wasn't really that bad. we took three damage off that one. we can weaken you, which is crazy. i think we might have you in lethal range here, man. we didn't even need to use the fire potion. that's insane. this is another sacrifice. whetstone hit two awesome cards for upgraded. oh my god, we got 752 gold now. first time you gain block from a card each combat, double the amount gained. that seems like a purchase for a guy like me.
-
14:30
this, the candy doesn't scale or doesn't synergize with pale's wing. because it just gives us one extra card within the fight that we're already, or within the reward we're already using. vambrace is a given. removing injury seems like a given. we still have 400 gold. you know what? let's try it, man. let's try a dingy rug. colorless card rewards could be interesting.
-
15:05
you have to start here and then see what your power could be. phantom blades? yeah, i mean making the shivs more efficient, dump a strike to get a neutralize. i mean obviously the more weakness we have the better. we really just gonna toss a shiv out there at the cost of a days. i think the answer is no man. you hold it right there. we gotta be careful. we don't wanna turn full of days. now we obviously.
-
15:40
want to hit you with that? hit you with that, hopefully draw an attack. obviously did not draw an attack. dump ascender's bane. because we might go in on this turn, man. like this, literally you're lethal next turn and i don't have to use my fire potion to do it. that was totally fine. just skill from your draw pile. yes, obviously we want that. don't skip war paint, man. it's going to upgrade secret technique to never get exhausted.
-
16:16
i would love to retain dramatic entrance right now, man. surely we have to think of the possibility of dramatic entrance coming back around later, right? no, because we just go in on you immediately. there's a chance we could kill you next turn. these guys don't even attack. you are doing 17 damage, which sucks real bad. but if you have to use a potion, you have to use a potion. you got to use a potion. i'm not taking 17 damage. that's basically a regen potion.
-
16:50
strangle does fit what we're trying to do, but one dex is priceless, man. okay, now we rest. now are we gonna make it through? i have no idea, to be honest. we have a great start, which is awesome. make sure we kill this guy first. i think where we get into trouble is focusing on this guy. we might want to be facing that guy at the end of all this, but we want to do as much damage as possible to you, i think. that's like my a9 advice to myself.
-
17:26
18 block, huge. first combat? yeah, still. i mean that leaves us in a very comfortable position, man. go ahead and store that. we need to upgrade well laid plans, of course. this is a given. hit you with that. hit you with that, hit you with that. three turns of that is, it seems awesome. store a defend. taking 19 damage, not awesome, but rocket getting down to 54 hp seems really awesome.
-
18:04
hmm dump it defend for now. there's a chance. oh you're you're getting so close to being dead man secret technique that draws nothing. oh my god i can't kill you. i can do 10 damage. you got to be trolling i'm only taking 14 damage, but that's still a slap in the face i guess maybe i could have killed you if the parrying shield had hit you. oh
-
18:39
well now i'm like, i don't have to kill you right off the bat. what would we like to draw? what skill is most important? probably blade of ink, right? and then we'd probably, you do zero damage? oh, cuz i had so many cards in my hand. you probably save the inky ships for you cuz you're likely to live. but i would also like to have some block. that's not gonna happen, okay. well then we'll be facing you. okay, okay, okay, now i understand.
-
19:19
so this is our turn. we want to spend four of those to kill you. you get a little bit stronger, to say the least. but then we apply a bunch of weakness. i'm not saying this is built in, like this is still... i should have saved the card obviously instead of just attacking into block, but... but we might be able to manage it now. i would say the important part is always making sure we at least have like a survivor in the hopper.
-
19:59
so that we can put up a big block if necessary. you already have weakness, okay. this is like a really nasty turn. do you continue to gain more strength? because if so, i'm obviously in a horrible spot. should have saved blade of ink to use with a finisher if finisher was coming back around. we still might be able to finesse it, man. send another weakness out there, store a defend. maybe you can survive another turn.
-
20:36
19 damage. we have a finisher, secret technique can get up my sleeve. i think this is it man. a zero cost up my sleeve. okay, that was really bad, but we made it. first attack or skill you play each turn is placed on top of your draw pile. assuming that it doesn't exhaust i imagine, otherwise we'd be farming like assassinates.
-
21:12
i mean blade of ink coming back every turn, secret technique coming back every turn. it's pretty tempting man, pretty tempting. you have diadem? we're never playing two or fewer cards. what the heck do you mean do we have diadem, man? i think we want 999 gold and then try to buy out the shop. the least predictable northernlion, slay the spire play, huge. i mean on,
-
21:52
basic combat. our deck looks incredible. mostly because our first turn is awesome. i'm realizing, yes, we should be doing as much combat as possible. even at the expense of this one. no, i don't know, because it's the same amount. you get one more out of it. but as much combat as possible because we get more relics out of it. first time each combat you exhaust a skill, add a copy into your hand. that's another adrenaline, bro.
-
22:18
aka beko on like dramatic entrance, even if we're not playing the vulnerability first as a result seems awesome. removing a basic strike. we have more shops coming up. centennial puzzle, why not man? it accelerates you a little bit. might as well, we were spending the gold for a reason, okay? so this, add a copy of it to your hand. crazy. and then i have too many cards. you know what? even with aka beko, i think we'd rather do it like this.
-
22:58
and then i don't even know what we'd want out of secret technique, man. something good. let's see what we got. oh, probably blade of ink. wait, dude, we're so good at combat. i know we sound a little bit like napoleon dynamite, but you cannot lose more than 20 hp in a single turn. we're going up against doormaker. that seems like it could be relevant, man. start combat with four blocks, sure. rest site, start with an additional little bit. heal 10% of your hp. don't mind.
-
23:39
i'll probably save the rest, but i do appreciate that to be honest with you. still that man. 15 damage. considering that we have vambrace as well, like we've got a pretty solid defensive deck, man. almost certainly you want adrenaline, but nah man, take blade of ink. he's already dead. you don't have to overthink it. you literally just play your best cards.
-
24:21
and keep sacrificing. we've got a really rich combat path on the left, which also does have a shop. okay, we may be skipping an elite to get a shop with 535 gold. that seems like extremely sensible to me. look at this beast again. first time each combat you exhaust the skill, add a copy to your hand. it's potentially very good stuff, man. what do you got for me? something transformative? i mean, more energy,
-
24:54
can hit the spot. i'm kind of scared about doormaker for sure because you have to think basically. so realistically, don't hate me for this. i think it's not the right time for tent because tent is literally one upgraded card or one heal but more likely one extra upgraded card for 173 gold and we don't even really have anything that i'm that eager to upgrade like cost zero maybe
-
25:32
so i think instead maybe try a pendulum, cut a card and then you know what with the amount of money that we have left over. sure, why not? it does make that last one better. i'm just saying i didn't think it was automatic this time. this time, take advantage of that. we've done that and then this will add, oh this doesn't exhaust. we're not gonna exhaust anything now that i think about it. three inky shivs in the hand. how many is that worth in the bush? beats me brother.
-
26:09
i'm not the right fella to be asking that question. sacrifice it. we only need one more fight because we're only going to get one more sacrifice. or did that just give us... that just gave us eternal feather. okay, so we do want to do two fights. this time, assassinate, dramatic. inky, we got the space. dump some trash with prepared. probably do want to play one defend. might as well get one more shiv out of it.
-
26:54
you know what? oh, i meant to play, i meant to play well, i played so you get to look at it. look at the clip. i had my mouse over it. this exhaust, so we get another one in our hands. oh, you're smoked. you're, you're, you're in a world of hurt froggy. look at this. that's what we need to do against doormaker. panache is not, it's not enough. and we need this sacrifice to get one more relic anyway. you're surely, you're going to give us a potion, right? wouldn't we be better off playing one of these and then let's
-
27:33
let's use this with the vulnerability. understand the pros and the cons. dump a basic, prepared. nostalgia will be good. it's not what we want at present, but it will be good. literally we rest anyway so like that we heal anyway. so let's just play well laid plants. we're gonna overdraw at the memory bank, man. there you go. we got one more in hand. secret technique, inky shivs in the hand. need to clear some freaking space.
-
28:15
bro, i need to clear some freaking space. get this out of here. draw two more cards. i need to clear some space. i'm playing precise cut for zero. up my sleeve. i gotta get up my sleeve out there, man. i'm scared of exa... let's think about what we can't exhaust against doormaker. what can't we exhaust? we certainly cannot afford to exhaust finisher. finisher is like our only attack that does damage in one attack.
-
29:04
by the way, god, a shuriken either from the sacrifice or from the actual relic from the elite would be so crazy, assuming it's still in the game. i don't know if it's still in the game, but assuming it's still in the game, it would be so crazy. surely they're cooked, right? 30 damage? do i really have to use my attack potion, mom? no, because precise cut kazuya. ice cream's interesting, actually. we're skipping. i know we could take backstab, but it's literally worth a relic to sacrifice.
-
29:39
for poison to all enemies, bro. it's okay. this has been a surprise. oh my god, it's only been 29 minutes to holy cow. okay, you need to play powers early. are we really going to draw? i think we should play our adrenaline bro to get another adrenaline. like dump this because it doesn't matter. i was hoping to get well laid plants or nostalgia for that matter. play your draws.
-
30:26
that in and of itself is a dub. and then two cards that exhaust anyway get saved. nothing, i mean, i don't know if i can weaken you holy cow then save your energy. okay, two cards that exhaust anyway. we don't want to exhaust and up my sleeve. i have no problem exhausting a prepared to get that up my sleeve out of here. and one basic defend. i've absolutely no problem exhausting a strike. we have enough block left over that we can like do this.
-
31:12
take five damage to keep one more defend in the deck. okay, now this one we can't draw. that's fine. we can put, we have eight energy. nostalgia, the first attack or skill you play each turn is placed on top of the draw pile. first skill is placed on top of the draw pile. so blade of ink, it's on top of the draw pile, right? then we could bring it back, but i actually think it's more sensible to get up my sleeve motoring
-
31:51
it also makes finisher better on this all important turn where we want to play finisher. and let's see what this attack is, man. okay, well, whenever you play a card this turn, the enemy loses 2 hp is an indication we should have used that earlier, obviously. but still, that's pretty good. half dead, just rinse and repeat. so in this one, things get more expensive. you need the block. sounds good to me, brother. now on this turn, whatever you play gets exhausted.
-
32:29
but it also gets placed on top of the deck, right? i'm going to say that top of the deck probably overrides. so i'm going to say you test it. okay, yeah, test succeeded. you put up as much block as possible. literally save the energy for the next turn. save inky, save leading. we're setting up for a finisher with the vulnerable potion. we didn't get finisher, but it's still a good turn. we will make you vulnerable. we might draw it here.
-
33:10
and then strangle, neutralize, dagger throw. we can't draw, that's right. okay, well, wouldn't have been able to play that anyway. three inky shifts, still really good. and taking 12 damage, not the end of the world. now things get more expensive. next turn they exhaust, but next time we go for it. it's an up my sleeve finisher, precise. okay, so we play a defend and we, my two cents save as much energy as you can.
-
33:52
i think we're definitely going to win. i think this was like a tactical freaking battle, man. because watch this. we want to strangle. secret technique doesn't work. okay. that's why i didn't do the math properly, but that's fine. then four shivs. you got to kill with finisher. it's a matter of respect, okay? if it wasn't for how horrible their last defect run went, i do not think that i'm locking in for this silent run, but that went freaking crazy.
-
34:22
okay, so we need necro binder and defect to get to ascension 10 now, but for now, thanks for watching i hope you've enjoyed if you did click the like button i've said a great deal subscribe you want to see more in the future and i'll see you next time later
