gamers we're back and we're kind of i'm gonna look back on these days wistfully the days where we could random a10 because we haven't beaten it with anybody yet. oh whoa you know, you make me wanna throw your hands open okay, cuz like that's a really good get is what i'm trying to say. hey isley brothers, we got a reputation for
-
0:29
content id matching? i guess it would be, you know, no algorithm is going to notice the similarities with that, let's be honest. being tone deaf kind of op in an age of like ai driven dmca's. long story short, i mean the silent, the odds on favor for the first character to win a 10 with would be the silent because they're probably grossly overpowered.
-
0:53
that being said, i did manage to lose a bunch. i did have several, horn cleat is also pretty good. i did have several runs that made it to the second boss on a10 this weekend, but none that were able to make it through the second boss. but that doesn't mean, i mean, there's a first time for everything, man. you are doing 15 damage, it's okay.
-
1:21
we'll put up as much block as we need to. here, i honestly think... what do you got? i think we should take advantage of the fact that we got horn cleats and not kill you this turn, but try to kill you next turn. maybe with something like this. that way we get in on you. you're gonna take one more turn to debuff. so we have two turns to do 17 damage. looking very likely that that is going to come to pass. that went really well for us, to be honest.
-
1:56
every three times you apply poison, deal 11 damage to all enemies. i'm gonna be honest, i want more cards because the starter cards with the silent are a little anemic, but i'll take one poison just to hedge our bets, but i don't think i'm really gonna be super invested in what they got going on there. i guess what i'm trying to say is i'm not committing hard to a poison build. by the way, this is gonna suck a lot.
-
2:32
this is definitely not the enemy you want to see. we got to go in on you. when you have absolutely no aoe at all, but i can kill number four on this turn. yeah, that gets you killed. this reduces the damage taken. still get to play two of those. we're taking zero damage, which is nice. and honestly, just that in and of itself made me feel like i was pretty happy for the poison to exist.
-
3:07
i chose not to play a block that time for some reason. i think it's better to mix the poison up a little bit. put this on here. we got here 2128. i'm going down to two hp, three hp. you're dead. i'm also dead though. have you noticed this about me? well that, thank god we got adrenaline man. this is like, if i may say something.
-
3:43
the early card rewards, i should have dodged the elite. that's my action item on that one. the early card rewards are so important as the silent man. because that was like, i mean that was like the third fight that we had. it was really early on. footwork is great, i think at least. the caveat is that we do need a way to do some damage.
-
4:11
i'm not against having a little extra decks. i did transform a strike as well. so like i gotta own my own role in this whole messed up ecosystem, but we're suffering because we have no excess damage whatsoever. sometimes say the spire would be like that though. and then you're like, well, you'd expect this run will be even worse than the last run and then somehow like this run will pop off.
-
4:43
maybe because we get like, you know, one attack or something like that. could be the move. you're doing 15 damage. i'm gonna be real with you. i just, i prefer to just wait out one stack of frail and then maybe kill you on a turn in which i have two attacks to hit you with. i think that ended up being the right place so we didn't have to deal with a buffed enemy that was doing a bunch of damage off of like a multi hit. i literally, i don't want to take sly or ricochet, but i feel like i have to. at the very least, it is an attack.
-
5:19
and if we, i would love to make a slide deck work. i just don't know if ricochet, like pack one, pick one when we don't have any other discards besides survivors is the move, man. that's okay. footwork is honestly letting us be a little bit more patient in these fights, which is annoying because these enemies like all buff themselves, but life goes on, man. look at that. i got the job done. thankfully i did the math right. okay. you know what? now i'm not even upset.
-
5:51
because it looks like we actually do have the makings of a possible slide deck. and then making ricochet and acrobatics both retain makes it very easy to ensure that we get to play them both on the same turn. now it does mean that this shop ends up being completely useless, but still three damage to a random enemy five times. brother, i'm not ready for the elite.
-
6:23
once again, i'm fighting the elite having added one attack to my deck. actually now that i think about it, i'm not even sure we added an attack last time. so this might be a market improvement. i guess we'll see. now do we play acrobatics? i'm gonna say no on this one so that we can set up the easy ricochet at some point, hopefully now.
-
6:56
then i think you take a stab at it and just hope that you get it. and we did get it also allowed us to get to the neutralize, which is awesome. we're gonna take a little bit. i mean, get ready. we're gonna take a lot of damage to be honest with you. like we only have one good attack in the whole deck. so we got we got problems yet again. 75 i really don't want to split you at 75. i need to be able to split you a little bit lower than that. hopefully it happens right here.
-
7:33
even just splitting you at 51 instead of 75 could be the difference between life and death on this one. and honestly, play the other ricochet and then draw ricochet again on the next turn. we did it y'all. that being said, still need to find a way to stay alive. oh no we don't because we just kill you instead. that was very lucky.
-
8:04
i love blur, especially with the lens or the glass, but i think we do need flick flack. more attacks, more aoe, more ways to do damage. let's go ahead and rest here, because we do have another elite fight. footwork's huge. but having made it through that fight, i do feel a little bit better about our chances overall. at least on the first floor, past the first floor, i have no idea. i also have to remember we prefer to use strikes.
-
8:40
the strikes do nine damage each now. we prefer to use strikes over other basics or even something like flick flack when there's only one enemy. i don't wanna lose hp. hopefully we'll be able to remove this later. and actually bronze scales pretty good with sly, i think. this is an interesting one. i feel like you play footwork, flick flack and a defend saving the ricochet for a future discard. and this actually shouldn't be so bad because of bronze scales. i don't think it's gonna be like,
-
9:18
awesome, but it might not be as bad as it otherwise could have been. you're the retain. that's a dream come true. wait, this is going swimmingly bro. and then flick flack, got ricochet. i guess i was hoping to draw flick flack off of it, but still, well that couldn't have gone worse, right? like it hit nobody enough to kill them. if we draw flick flack,
-
9:53
we can get two kills and take 11 damage off the board, but we could put 14 block. let's try, man. we didn't get it. no, no, no. well, we can still take that damage off the board and then play one of these. we take one plus, we take 11 damage. i think we screwed that one up a little bit, but that's okay. the fact that we actually are able to screw it up and still be okay, i think is a great sign right now.
-
10:28
obviously you're cooked. that went really well, man. draw one discard is big for us. war paint, i mean it was never gonna hit anything but two defends realistically. i guess it could have hit an acrobatics, never mind. i was being needlessly kind of doomer about that one. you're doing six damage. see what you draw? as long as you can hold the acrobatics, i'm chilling. we can only play one skill per turn. that sucks.
-
11:03
there will come a turn when acrobatics is the play, but we need to be able to put up some block too. i don't think it's acrobatics into a flick flack, because we can just kill you, neutralize you, probably play one upgraded defend and then just drop an attack on you. now is probably the turn where we'd be like, okay, play. well, no, because you would just do it like that. you would do it with an attack instead. and we're chilling. it has to be after image. and i think it's going to be a rest again.
-
11:37
trust me, i would love to upgrade some cards. i'm just a little scared. so we have no problem putting up a good amount of block right now. that's nice. excuse me, by the way. let's see what we get. let's dump a beckham for sure. the neutralizer is a big pickup. i would throw an acrobatics out there. i was really hoping it would hit a slide card, obviously, but i was thinking that would be enough to get us the 12 block.
-
12:12
there's our flick flack just waiting, waiting for an opportunity. do something like this. and then something like this. any other sly cards back there? stallone, my second home. miami. know what i'm talking about? the new millennium. excuse me. willennium. not doing a whole lot of damage. that much is very clear. that being said, we're chunking him down.
-
12:57
bit by bit, kind of. we're removing the curses only slightly more slowly than the curses are being added to the deck, perhaps, is the nice way to put it. and every time he hits us, we're doing an extra three damage, which means in 43 turns, he's done, man. do six hp. well, there is something i can do about it. radiant tincture. get two of those out there.
-
13:33
i'm actually like my toxic trait right now is that i believe that we could actually make this happen. they're not doing much damage to us. we're doing very low amounts of damage to them. but i think our low damage is better than their low damage. this turn is the exception that proves the rule i hope. please, please, please not a bunch of beckons. that turn was really bad. we got nothing out of that turn. this turn this turn is fine.
-
14:22
we take no damage. they literally take more damage than us on that turn by one. have hit us with some crazy debuffs. i don't think anybody would dispute that, but look at that. six damage on your forehead. two more beckons go into the deck. it's gonna be a bit of a... it's gonna be a battle. i'm dead. i'm dead. after enough attacks in the deck! i guess i... because i fight an elite and then i get too scared after fighting the elite. so i go only to question marks, so i get no card rewards. and then i only have two attacks by the time we get to the boss.
-
15:03
it's my rare. assassinate is so good. it's such a good card, man. because we have this, we should try to stack up some card rewards. let's do this for madden. there, one has already died. now we just need, okay, here's the play. i have the play. assassinate a ton of backstabs, which are innate like 10 damage, and then you're not ready for the next part.
-
15:36
vaku's earrings on act 3. so vaku plays the first hand for us, but we get extra energy from that point onwards. and then just it plays left to right. so it plays the vulnerable zero cost attack, then all the other zero cost attacks. it's going to get infinite kills for us. and we get the benefit of the extra energy on enemies that have more than zero hp. by the way, i mean, we're locked into shivs now and i literally think it doesn't get any better than that. i think i'm trying to say that's what it's all about. that's how i'm trying to be two of these.
-
16:09
cancel christmas, backstab. i mean backflip, backflip would also go pretty good into a backstab. you could like backflip over top of them. you know what i'm saying? okay. ideally, let's see how this turn goes. this should be a great turn to kill you because it gives us one more turn. what are we drawing? oh, we're drawing all gas next turn. i'm not going to use a backflip. you're taking a turn to debuff, which means you're already dead. that's a pass for me.
-
16:45
i said we would get card rewards, i didn't say i'd take them. it's just nice to already know where we want our deck to go, man. maybe the next step on this one would be like, imagine if we should be so lucky as to find ourselves in a position where i could actually upgrade some cards at a campfire instead of always resting just to have enough hp to not die, but still definitely have to rest next campfire.
-
17:22
could be the move, man. finisher with shivs is a play for sure. give me the sword of stone on this one. this is a fella unfortunately, but first turn having a handful of attacks is pretty good. the size of this guy always makes me think, no, i'm in a lot of trouble. and then i fight him and i go, why was i scared? he's not that scary, man. look at that. they need to make that guy smaller.
-
17:56
sucks to dump a weak potion, but still. dagger spray is really important, but i mean we're shiv coded, man. oh, we got the chosen cheese as well. too vulnerable on turn one is insane. don't hate me, i'm gonna rest. cuz there might be two elites on this path, i'm too lazy to check. not two elites, but it could be an aoe elite. okay, it's not an aoe elite, but this guy, can we all agree he's still pretty annoying? obviously this ain't doing too much, but neither is he as of yet.
-
18:39
i'll take two damage. we got to make sure we're getting in there as quickly as possible. we have no more means to make you vulnerable, which is very annoying. you know what though? this ampule actually keeps us on pace to kill you in two turns, which would be crazy if it happened. i'm willing to take a chance on that because you're not putting up block. we get shivs next turn.
-
19:10
might have looked like we took more damage than is necessary, but i actually think that was smart. oh my god, prayer wheel. i've literally been complaining about card rewards. this could be huge. give me a leg sweep just as a defensive option. crazy turn one, man. go in on that fella first. weaken you. shiv you. two of these kills you. you're taking a turn off, so we kill you and hit you.
-
19:47
or not a turn off, you're taking a turn to debuff. which basically means you're signing your own death warrant, whatever that means. you just hear it in movies now and then. we'll take afterimage for sure. i'll take a dagger spray as well. okay, now our deck has ballooned, but that's actually a good thing. literally a good thing, by the way, literally a good thing. i thought i'd have one more energy for some, because i got used to the flower. i got used to the flower. this is going insNLy well right now.
-
20:24
and you know what, you might be mad that i rested instead of upgrading. well, guess what, buddy? we'll instead, we'll simply upgrade at the campfire before the boss. broken dagger, his defense offense all wrapped up in one. i gotta take the spoils, matt, man. now, what's the play? that should never ask. the play is gigantification potion on finisher when the fish is not intangible. there's a few different variables involved in that, but
-
21:07
i stand by it. i said, god help me. obviously not on this turn. this turn ain't good enough. you know what? we should have popped the dex potion earlier. let's pop it now. we do have to think about how we're going to play the beckons. and i think honestly, the answer for a guy like me is ignore them unless they're going to kill us. no finisher, please. no finisher. no finisher. it's basically two gua. we attack through the intangible turn. kind of a crazy way to deal with that.
-
21:50
i'm still scared because we have way worse defense than our last one. it's just like in theory the offense could be a little bit better. this would do 36 damage. i can't, i can't do that man. okay. what i can do, i can take 6 and 13 and at least do 12 and hold the potion. i can live with that. a little bit of an esoteric play.
-
22:24
one, i'm still frightened man. we're not doing that much damage! no finisher please, that's my finisher turn. they're trolling. huge, okay. i mean we're getting you down to a very, very dangerous range for yourself here. you take 13, we're on six, but you're so close to death. don't draw beckons. huge. dump that of course. we take two damage, but we get your range even closer.
-
23:06
even closer. oh my god, we don't even need to use it. wait. after all the fear that went into that, to just be able to do it while saving the potion is such a relief. i feel waves of emotions coming over me here. and then, ships now hit all enemies. this could change everything, man. i hate this guy though. i think this guy gives the worst upgrades. however, another innate card? oh, okay, this is too interesting for me. it's too interesting for me.
-
23:40
another innate card that weakens is so good for like our first turn. i think we should be elite maxing, bro. i definitely think we should be elite maxing. our weakness right now is aoe, but everything else is mighty nice. we have no block. well then you gotta go, man. obviously you gotta go. start here, we have what, four shivs? oh my god, no, we're awesome.
-
24:20
more shifts is good, but we'd like to also cut some cards from the deck to make it a little tighter. i actually feel like this is awesome. give me 48 gold. i don't want to add curses because at shops i want to cut our cards. enchant an attack with corrupted? yes, i will enchant finisher with corrupted. could be a big move for us. 2 hp ain't worth sweating. if that was a big deal, then we weren't going to make it anyway probably. assassinate, quick suppress, three how to basics.
-
24:55
we do need to use a potion to be honest because we're just not going to have the space for more potions. but what would you use? like these potions are good. skill potion. i'd rather have skill than power i think right now. i do want leg sweep back. let me know what the card is. calculated gamble. not just good for discard decks. also allows us to get out of a jam if we draw some stuff we don't like. ironclad defect.
-
25:26
regent, just give me some ironclad cards, at least i'm familiar with them. okay, shrug it off is just a darn good card. 12 damage, the next attack you play costs zero. we don't have any expensive attacks really, i think that's a pass. whenever a card's exhausted, draw a card. it's kind of crazy. wait, pact's end is kind of crazy too, because shiv's all exhaust. we'll try it, man. i mean, worst case, we draw it early and it's a bit of a dead draw.
-
26:09
not the case here. get him, get him. i'm hoping to get some shivs, that's okay. nine damage for each attack already played this turn. i think you got to triple that. i think you're going to need to triple that and give it to the next guy. that's why you saved the gigantification potion. every time you play an attacker skill, upgrade it for the remainder of combat. i would happily take another calculated gamble. we'll fight, we'll fight. this is one where you get literally the only way you make it through a10, i think.
-
26:43
is being aggressive. so we're of course we're going to be aggressive. also you're already dead. do we have the space to play? no, we don't even have close to the space to play that but it literally doesn't matter because you're dead. not every turn is going to give you beautiful draw like that but that that is awesome. unlocks a special event in the next act. okay man, we do need more block solutions. i mean even just two energy for five for four ships but you draw it faster is big. 600 gold
-
27:15
art of war probably not gonna be too practical. there is no shop on this floor past this point except for here or possibly here, but i think we're gonna ignore that path. anyone that hits more than once has to be targeted here. obviously like a fan of knives would be really nice. now who's gonna be rendered weak? the one doing the most damage, of course. that basically couldn't have gone better. we're just stalling until fan of knives comes out anyway.
-
27:51
packed zen, literally playable immediately. crazy, man. now for once you're not gonna play finisher. you're gonna come back to life, but i'm telling you a fan of knives. a fan of knives would do some good work. there it is. and then dumping a bunch of garbage. i was hoping to get like a fan of knives. or i guess we wouldn't even be able to play it, but... how about a free storm of steel, backflip, dump it all.
-
28:24
totally fine, man. and chosen cheese is just stacking hp for us in the background. skip them, come over here. now this is a scary time. it's a scary time, but we're going all in. the only way we're gonna beat a10 is by having some all in moments, man. do me a favor, give me a power right out of the gate. draw a card on your turn. ship's gain, retain the first ship does more damage. or double, honestly, sounds crazy. i think we're gonna need more block.
-
28:58
every one of those cards was seductive in its own way. block is the secret sauce, man. that was an okay first turn. obviously you need to play this. it's also like one of our best blocking cards. taking as little damage as possible is the only thing that matters right here, which is why the right play is this. maybe not. because we have another elite fight right after this.
-
29:46
i wonder if you could give me a relic that allows me to store some block. like that would really hit the spot, man. that wasn't that bad, taking another four damage. i mean these are elites, bro. these are elites. this ain't your run of the mill nothing burger. literally going cowards mode here just cuz i didn't like the way it looked. i lived, bro. do i look like i'm sweating it? a little bit maybe, a little bit. how about an attack? how about an attack? there we go.
-
30:25
the pair is basically, that's a huge heel and accuracy is so important. winged boots would go crazy here. who said that? in a perfect world we would be able to hold this potion till the next fight for sure. a fan of knives. this is what it's all about man. maybe into like another fan of knives. that actually went super well. two potions, another blade dance. we have after image. this is what it all comes down to. no.
-
31:04
colorless potion. there has to be a skill in our draw pile that we would be pogged up to see, man. you know what? there is, because we need to play after image quick. the skill is calculated gamble. and then, wait, never mind. now that we got finisher, it's a different calculus. because we definitely want to assassinate, suppress, strike, blade dance.
-
31:46
strike again and this kills you. so i mean it was an inefficient card to take off the colorless but the fact that it gets a kill without us dying is obviously huge. we do have 1100 gold. now you're gonna say something like saving gold for next run. we didn't have a shop, man. we didn't have a shop. can i do? we didn't have a shop, okay? so now we'll spend it on the next floor. that's the other thing. as long as we live, it don't go bad.
-
32:22
i think we can live with taking 6 damage because we're going to get an afterimage at some point. we've already done 150 damage. now we're preload, like turn 1 is obviously frontloaded i should say, but still. this is not that bad. it's still not that bad. it would be better if we could get the powers and the cards that are so important for us, but that's okay.
-
32:56
it do be like that sometimes. we hit you for 60 damage, lose 2 hp in the process. literally this is your turn for this. as embarrassing as this is. hard to get a higher value than that. we need to play accuracy, but then we also need to play afterimage, bro. it's literally our last card. jeff foxworthy was right. it's always the last place you look.
-
33:22
we take six damage at the end of the turn. okay, put that up. this time, we have to be able to play more than three cards per turn, man. we have to, i'm sorry, we have to be able to play more than three cards per turn. that's our deck. so we finally get afterimage. thankfully make you weak. thankfully do some damage. get some shivs out there. thankfully not pass away. draw some cards to finish the job. okay, now we're cooking. how are we going to beat two bosses if we're lucky enough to get there, man?
-
33:57
i really have a hard time believing that it's gonna be murder. bullet, we don't have enough draw to be angry at bullet time. that's a good pickup. every four cards you play, draw a card. honestly, size is kind of crazy too. seven block for free every turn is kind of insane. the draw is crazy. we don't have the energy to do anything with it. i think you take the seven block. it's also easier to pilot, but people will want you dead for saying it. i think we take this path. one reason. two shops.
-
34:32
two shops versus one. i'm wrong. this path is so much safer. we'll just get whatever you need to get done at the first shop done. you're cooked, lad. losing max hp for no reason greater than sign. this is feeling all right though, power level wise. i would add an up my sleeve, the more shivs the merrier and i mean we have so many cards man. and we're actually at the point, i was just gonna say like removing cards is probably not that effective.
-
35:20
but then i thought to myself, we're gonna have 1300 gold by the time we get to the shop. so probably you would still remove a card even though you don't expect it to make all that much of a difference. one of the things we need the most, afterimage needs to be innate. don't need it. don't need it. we can upgrade afterimage to make it innate, then everything's looking a lot better, man.
-
35:56
that will solve almost all of our block related issues. don't even discard. we don't have enough zero cost cards for it to matter. holy cow, it's afterimage. by the way, we take damage there if it's not for sae. if it's not for... and i'm talking about the dude uro gangnam style. we need... on this one, we need this. because it's unlikely up my sleeves coming back around. you take half damage on this turn. obviously, that sucks pretty bad. i was kind of hoping to kill you.
-
36:41
instead we take 10, but we didn't just take that take 10 damage. we're also on 71 71 damage for 71 hp. it ain't too bad man 68 the fact that you couldn't give me either 6 7 or 6 9 a little offensive, but otherwise we're chillin thank you chosen cheese. i honestly have a hard time seeing phantom blades working for us. it's one damage it's one energy for one shiv doing nine extra damage per turn.
-
37:15
okay, when you put it that way it's probably worth having. but we're not gonna play around in the sense like we're not just gonna play one shift per turn. but we might just... well, i have to think about it. how about... i mean we have 1200 gold so let's start with something obvious. every relic. at this point i don't even want another accuracy just because i want to make sure we're drawing the actual core cards faster. for this... wow.
-
37:51
it doesn't make a lot of our cards a lot better to be honest with you. and how about us? i just, we don't have the energy for scrawl in all circumstances, but escape plan is good. escape plan adds a card, but it's a guaranteed zero cost draw. and then i think we should try to like elite max. cuz i still think as good as this run might be, and there's a heavy might in there.
-
38:22
as good as this run might be, you need a little something extra to take you over the uh... the hump of having to fight two bosses. we're not really speedster coded i'm afraid. now this is very important i think. innate afterimage seems like a disgusting upgrade for us. bag of marbles?
-
38:49
we already had some elite or some vulnerability i should say but still pretty good. i'm also gonna make finisher do more damage because we already, i mean it costs us two hp to play it we might as well make it worth our while. i would rather you be weak so let's start with vulnerable and then weaken you. i don't mind taking one damage that's okay with me.
-
39:19
now if you would be so kind as to drop shuriken, man that would be crazy. imagine or kunai for that or both. i don't know that there's no way that could possibly happen but imagine if it could. i don't know if i have a one turn kill that does 173 damage. it certainly would not involve these cards if it did exist.
-
39:51
uh, it might involve some of these, because at least we're getting a lot of block out of that. 7 block, 10 block and a draw, give me 10 block and 1 draw. we take 19 damage, not that bad. might warrant doing a rest. literally save 1 shiv, because it'll do 20 next turn to get the kill. demands a genius. nah man, we're chillin'. what, 2 non default cards is crazy?

keep the hp high cuz we do have to go through an elite and two boss fights if we're sticking with this path. i can't believe i got excited over war paint like that's not a sensible man. really foreplay on that, we should have saved the vulnerability to use on them when he came around. that's okay though. i'm happy to not play a finisher here cuz these guys they're like anti big attack coded. huge, that's and that's 20, not quite enough to get the kill unless we do this.
-
41:07
still good, still good. okay, these guys are nothing. it really all it comes down to the elite fight. but also the elite fight could give us a crazy relic. so that was kind of huge. i'm feeling alright. let me put it that way. i'm feeling okay. i've never really felt cocky, i think, going into

like an a10 or an a20 run, serpent's form if we could actually get that, if we could find the space to play it like with a bullet time could win us the run. if we got the exact perfect draw, which sometimes that's what it takes. but if we got the exact perfect draw, i would be feeling a little cocky about that one to be honest with you. 23, we probably need as much extra block as we can get. i'll save one cuz it does more damage next time. look at me.

42:09
we've changed, man. start with backflip. these cards suck. get rid of them all. fan of knives. oh! save one to do more damage next turn. okay, so this is literally like proof of what we were trying to do. we're still gonna get shellacked on this turn just due to the way it shakes up. but that's okay. we're gonna have a lot of hp for the boss fight, i think. don't need to play finisher. huge.

42:44
fire is kind of a big hit too, if i'm being honest with you, man. okay, okay, well here we are. we'd be stupid not to rest, i think. who are we going up against? we start with the test subject. test subject isn't that bad to start with, cuz we don't play too many skills early, i think. i mean, we actually might play a few skills on turn one here, but it's in service of killing you on turn one, which is also kinda sick.
-
43:18
oh my god, it's bullet times serpent form? this turn obviously... it actually did not suck nearly as bad as i thought it would. considering what we got out there. well you need... i mean this is gonna be huge. 16 times 6. keep the change you filthy animal. i've always wanted to say that. what's your thing now? you get intangible? hmm... okay. let's throw a bit of a monkey wrench into things but still like...
-
44:02
i mean every one of these cards we played does two damage and also generates one block. i mean what are we gonna do, not play them? of course we're gonna play them. 45 damage. i'd prefer to take less damage, but if we end up going into the next boss fight with like 65 hp, i'd still be feeling pretty good, i think. okay, well we shouldn't have said that until we saw how much hp we were actually gonna have, but i digress.
-
44:49
i'm gonna take five here. good shiv on the next turn. you are intangible, so there is no shiv on the next turn. still, taking zero on this turn, we got a shiv for the next turn. backflip. okay, you're going to die. i feel pretty confident in saying you're going to die, which officially makes this an ascension 9 victory. and then the queen. great thing about going up against the queen here. i have no idea how to think about this, by the way.
-
45:24
would have been great to get serpent form there. great thing is explosive amp you will raid out of the gate at least we get a little value and i mean you pop bullet time essentially for no reason but the good news is even if we don't get... shit we can only play one?
-
45:48
i'm not supposed to swear in the youtube video. but it's serious business. you have to play serpent form. you can only play one of those cards. it's gotta be serpent form. and then get the kill as fast as possible, please. we can only play one of these. that's okay. you start with this and then you go in and in and in. discard them all. you play this. honestly, the shivs are super important for us. but also like if i could take as little damage as possible because it's just kind of like jeff probst's code. we're kind of like out out with our play out last right now.
-
46:21
it's gonna be phantom knives by a mile, and it only does 48 damage. we can just kill you with blade dances instead and take no damage ourselves and do more damage to the queen. we killed the little candelabra somewhat quickly, man. i think you gotta play a cloak and dagger. we need a little bit of block. i recognize phantom knives is five shivs as well, but we're feeling a little pinched.
-
47:09
as much as accuracy matters, i feel like... i'm kind of looking at this and saying, wait, are we gonna die? like not this turn, but are we gonna die next turn? we only take nine that turn. that's not that bad. okay, i'd love to... i'd like to do some serious damage on this turn. it's not serious damage. there's something to it. and then we got a shiv for next time. 60 damage! 60 damage, okay.

weaken you, 45 damage, 43 block. i'm being so honest with you. we were a lizard's tail away from just having an 8 10 victory. we were really there. we were in there. now we could have maybe if we prioritize things a little differently, change the calculus a little bit, it could have set us up a little bit more nicely. that was really good though. for now, thanks for watching. i hope you enjoyed it. if you did click the like button, that helps out a great deal. subscribe if you want to see more in the future. for now, thanks for watching. i'll see you next time. later.
