gamers, we're back. i'm riding high off of that last ironclad run. i'm trying to think, first off, why the game's running with two fps. we played a lot of silent ascension x. we've beaten the defect ascension x. it sounds like it might be time to just click in on leonardo dicaprio here. i do think filehoster, which is... that's more like a... it's like a dropbox type thing.
-
0:26
file holster. this is a file holster. i think it's pretty good potions give you way more protection and capacity for buffs on a two boss situation as well, but it's also really hard for me to not take a rare of my choice with a relatively low cost i think i have to look at that man, and i mean i this is obviously good obviously good, but this is
-
0:59
this is mighty interesting. i've never really hard committed early to a forge build and maybe this is the card that i needed to really make that feel natural for a guy like me. an aoe sovereign blade forges 7, does 17 to all enemies. 17 doesn't quite get to a kill on you.
-
1:29
well, actually, this would take you to 90. yeah, it totally does get to a kill on you, bro. holy cow, it does 25. focus on the quasar in the mist. the kaiser has a cyst and i'm a blank one. list the qualms you'll have and this is stereo by pavement. track one upright in the corners. it took me a second to place it. you don't hear quasar that often ever since we stopped using vcrs, okay? they used to make vcrs is what you need to know. i kind of wanted.
-
2:01
i kind of want it because colorless cards can be good, but i don't know what our star situation is going to look like. dude, early luckyfish is kind of crazy. here's what i'm thinking. get that venerate out there so that we can easily play both of our star driven cards. what do we want? it's not going to cost zero is worth noting. let's go for the one that when we draw it in the future, we'll be happy to see it. fist of cups in the future, we'll be happy to see. now, seeking edge is kind of like,
-
2:35
something we gotta play. there's probably a lethal, there's not a lethal line on this, unfortunately. which means we're gonna take way more damage than i thought we were gonna take, but we can kill you next turn. 44 hp still not, you know, cause for a larim. obviously forging more is important. i think you don't even have to think about it, even though i love manifest authority and i think it's an amazing card, i think you have to take the forges where they exist. forge 5, draw 2.
-
3:11
no matter what we want to remove an injury. i kind of feel like we just want another rot in war. you know what, give me a glitter stream as well just because i feel like we're gonna need some block depending on who this elite ends up being. heal me for 22, i would happily fight these little... i thought they would be the snakes. are they sometimes the snakes or am i incorrect on that? because then 17 damage to all enemies is obviously awesome. but we could do better.
-
3:44
probably the play is you just, we healed for 22. let's now take 14 damage and then kill them all next turn and then we still get a net gain of 8. plus, we get the card rewards which gave us 5 max hp. and... i don't... minion strike is colorless. that's the one thing that makes me think, it pushes me over the edge for that one. glitter stream not too bad here. i just wish i could play 2 rot in wars but
-
4:22
one's probably good enough, man. we're just building up to when the sovereign blade gets a little bit more potent, i suppose. we don't need to play seeking edge, which is kind of nice. do you just play this? you probably wait till next turn and then play it so it whips back around. or do you play it this turn? i think you play it this turn.
-
4:46
because next turn we'll want to play more blocks. this turn we inherited five blocks from the glitterstream, so okay that makes sense. what a crazy sentence by the way. you have no debuffs, put every rare from your draw pile into your hand, so none. we'll just take a flash of steel on that one. let's turn a basic strike into a minion strike and nothing basic about that.
-
5:11
and at some point, though i'm low to admit it, we have to do enough damage to kill you, so we might as well hit you. i know what you're thinking, and no, i'm not going to die. something's gonna save us on this beautiful, beautiful run. that would have saved our life if i could have weakened you, but i can't. so i guess instead we'll die on the, on burdenus? we'll die on burdenus. that's crazy.
-
5:43
i thought we were off to the races, man. we had a great build for aoe. we just had no way to kill a single target enemy that fast. that's kind of crazy. greed you can't even remove. 333 gold is crazy if you can stall till a shop. but you know what? maybe it's file holster's time to shine.
-
6:07
i'm a little disappointed about that one, but you know the trajectory that we so often take in slay the spire 2. we so often lose on the first run and then on the second run are blessed to... i actually find this in slay the spire 1 too. sometimes, and you have to be a knower of slay the spire 1 to understand this, but i'm assuming many of you are,
-
6:28
oftentimes, well i guess we'll start from base principles. if you lose a run very early before fighting the first boss, you always get two options of reward to start the next run with. one of which is enemies on your next three combats have one hp and the other one is like randomly selected from a pool. if you get further than that, you get a choice of several other options. and some of those options are amazing. like lose 99 gold, remove two cards. that's kind of an incredible option. or like
-
6:57
pick a random rare like these are and i think you pay 99 gold for that or like a curse or something so these these are like great options right but i find i have the best success rate when i've done poorly on the previous run and have to rebuild like from scratch without having a crutch to build around by taking enemies in the next three comments have one hp i think it's like it's overpowered man i really like radiate it just doesn't do anything for us
-
7:24
early and i'm realizing we need to have some firepower early. so photon cut, i mean this is disgusting. there we go. now i'm not as disgusted. i was just, i felt kind of slighted that we were drawing none of our defense when i know that we have defense in the deck. next turn we'll take a strike. we probably got you. i like photon cut. it gives you a little draw and a little deck fixing.
-
7:54
start of your turn, add a colorless to your hand. whenever you play sovereign blade, gain 10 block. it is crazy. i really don't wanna just force it, especially because we have no forge. child of the stars seems a little bit more, it has a universal applicability to it that i can get behind. let's put a strike on top, play two defense here. you both attack on turn two, one attacks on turn two.
-
8:32
probably did not need to take seven damage there. what's done is done, man. we want more stars related cards. see now if i'd known conqueror was coming, i might have felt a little differently. i don't really like celestial edge by the way, or celestial might i should say. but there is, give me a venerate just so we can play falling star when it comes back around. there is something to say for the fact that the region has cards that can gain bigger.
-
9:10
and obviously, i gotta hit you man. obviously the attacks that hit multiple times are kind of at a premium. i don't know if there's more of them in like the colorless pool. honestly not sure. extern gain energy and stars retain your hand. not 100% sold that we have like anything at all going on right now. the only thing that i really like about what's going on right now that distinguishes it from our previous run. i think i want this on top man.
-
9:45
is the fact that we didn't fight an elite early. i think that's why we died on the last one but we're alive on this one. this fight has been okay i'm not gonna use a potion just because we got it all full. we're probably not gonna get one here anyway man, never you play a card this turn gain one strength this turn play a card this turn. you know what actually works with celestial might maybe there's something to that. i
-
10:20
and then does this add another, it adds another six damage and another attack, which is really the sort of thing we're gonna be looking for to kill a boss probably. two cards have steady, some of the best 99 gold i think i could spend in my life. probably you want monologue and celestial might to both be retained cuz you always wanna play them together. i mean with so few added cards in the deck, you have to take a strike or a defense. nah man, nah man.
-
10:53
i would really rather lose a strike but we got into the weeds a little bit there. letter opener could be nice. i'm gonna take a rest just because there is an elite coming up and i wanna kinda test the deck, man. you gotta pay. put a defend on top, we're not gonna play it anyway. cut these two out. and then monologue whenever you play a card this turn, gain one strength this turn. this is the way i wanted to do this. we take no damage. one of them is gonna go for a summon next turn.
-
11:35
that doesn't bother me too much. this is the play, whenever you play a card this turn, gain one strength this turn. and then you play a convergence. and then, cool. but we didn't make a whole lot of forward progress. but that way, that's okay cuz we do exactly the same thing. and you can see the damage output really going up there. and then the vigor as well, all of that working together is crazy. i think i'm gonna go basic strike out of the deck.
-
12:13
and then this will be like a real test right here. this actually might be one of the better individuals for us to be going up against, man. and this is an all right first turn. let's pop a potion. i wanted the one that gave us strength. play, yeah, play weakness, then vigor, and then venerate. oh, i don't have the energy to play my celestial might anymore, man. okay, then we can play monologue.
-
12:43
child of the stars which gives us even more strength and you're doing like 56 damage. and i'll put another potion. that was a mistake just to be clear like what happened earlier there was a mistake. but it ended up not being that big of a deal. i think we should dump defend, play a strike and the convergence and then we want the wombo combo with celestial might and falling star and monologue beautiful.
-
13:16
it would have been nice to get the one that gave us bigger as well. i guess it wouldn't have been nice because it doesn't matter. that was really good. that was really, really good. and i think gather light is a great common. we've long since established what my opinions on cards don't really matter. but if they did, i would be happy to have had this card. we're doing a lot of damage, man. i don't think we're really going to have the stars for gamma blast.
-
13:46
we're gonna be playing fallingstar every time. quasar i like just because it could give us, we play a card, it gives us, so that's one card played for one strength, theoretically with monologue. choose a zero cost card, that's one more strength and also whatever the effect of the zero cost card is. i'm willing to give it a try at least and i'm gonna rest. cuz i think that the second floor relics can be op. we'll get all our upgrades in on the second floor if we can.
-
14:15
we're gonna defend on top, we'll play child of the stars and venerate. i'm not really that stressed about doing six damage to the soulfish out of 220 hp or whatever. the weakness though for sure, and then terraforming is six vigor. we wanna dump this, play that. i'd like to, you know what, is it worth spending an energy? i don't think it is. we would rather have six vigor cuz we're definitely going to draw
-
14:54
celestial might. i was hoping we would get falling star too. so we play monologue. ways are, we could take a one cost card. at the start of your turn gain four vigor. it's not going to apply immediately but that's okay. falling star is going to eat the vigor though now that i think about it. would we rather do, take six damage off, what does it add? the vulnerability only adds four damage.
-
15:26
so i actually think you probably celestial might and then don't, well it's still 11 damage let's play it. i was gonna play a strike obviously that doesn't make sense but having four vigor is crazy. now on a turn like this we mostly just want to put up some blocks. need a venerate out there in the future as well. have one beckon. a convergence beckon. terraforming with the knowledge that we might not get it on the attack we wanted on but
-
15:59
that's okay. you could always wait. holy cow, what a horrible turn. so use some energy and weaken you. play three beckons, play a gather light and play two more defense. we have vigor. okay, this is crazy then. we do 96 damage.
-
16:23
i could wait for the combo. wait, no, that's not very smart. i'll just kill you instead. we had to go all out. flex potion is like a perfect potion for us to get though. there is something about make it so. we're playing a lot of skills and not playing that many attacks because we're only playing our big attacks. this is interesting. we just don't have the star base to really reliably do it.
-
16:53
i think we just go make it so, but then it's gonna steal vigor so many times. i mean, if we can get the stars to play decisions, this will be very interesting. you end your turn with unspent energy, gain energy next to it. this went so hard on the last one, man. i think i just have to play it until i get a reason not to take it. cuz the last one made me a believer. now, it was largely due to the fact that we had ice cream, but still.
-
17:28
there's some very, very good stuff that happened as a result, man. raw three cards, choose a skill in your hand, play it three times. i mean, what you would obviously wanna do is play like monologue three times and then get a kill. but also just to be able to use this to not take damage, and it triggered letter opener. kinda did some work early. we wanna gain energy in stars. but i mean, obviously i wanna hit you. it's not the right turn for it, man.
-
18:09
you simmer on it and you're only gonna take half damage which is the word and this is the card i wanted to see but alas. you wanna gather light for sure. we have six energy cuz of pales legion, okay. we should have played monologue first, but i rather weaken you. you have to take five damage to get stun locked. i would rather not weaken you then or i would just sorry i would rather weaken you cuz it's an attack. so yes, and then hit you. i think we want a photon cut first.
-
18:43
and then three more till you fall over. and then most of these will do full damage instead of half damage. wow, okay, we want that back. it's a very important card. yeah, we need gather light. i wanna see something cuz i don't think i've really done much with this card. okay, draw five. not that important, i think, to get to draw five unless i'm off my rocker. six damage four times.
-
19:15
goes to 36 damage. honestly, i genuinely thought i would have one more energy left to play a defend, but i still think that might not be the worst play that's ever been done in human history or whatever. let's trigger pales legion. splash is interesting man. the enemy is not gonna be vulnerable i think but that's okay. i'm playing a little too fast. i kind of don't know what i'm doing. orbit is very interesting as well.
-
20:07
especially because it becomes half price, right? it becomes with cost of one. 200 gold for cloak clasp. yeah, i think that's an awesome deal for some passive block. give me your, i don't really like the dolls. no, whenever you add a card to your deck, add an additional copy. no, that seems, it seems like it could be good. and it seems like it could be horrible. it's very interesting.
-
20:43
very interesting little dilemma we've got ourselves in here. just thinking about what to do. might be crazy. i'm gonna trigger pales legion. we only take six damage because of cloak clasp. it's really gonna save us a lot of grief. i think it's gotta be monologue, venerate, decisions, decisions. i don't know, man, play a quasar three times. let's see what happens. energy gain, beautiful.
-
21:28
it's tough, i think you just take thinking ahead cuz it's one temporary strength which is fine. i'll just take a panic button cuz maybe it'll have some relevancy for us. put a card on top of your draw pile. get a card we can't afford to play out of here. then we still have so much strength. i do think, what i think is put up 30 block, can't gain block for two turns. i'm gonna live with that. obviously this, i'm gonna hit you.
-
22:12
maybe i play this first because it gives me strength, then i hit you, put this back on top, play this. i understand we can't gain block, but that's just for the extra strength. kill you and then we only have to do 18 damage to you next turn. now there is a part of me by the way that wonders, interesting, i think a second monologue could go crazy, which is actually a second and a third monologue now that i think of it. you upgrade it, it gets retained.
-
22:51
that's okay. so i wish i'd known that before i put steady on it, but so be it so part of me that wonders if you have like an ancient potion or one artifact do you not lose the strength at the end of your turn or is it like worded in such a way as to get around? that because that would that would be like a way that we could let me just go crazy basically, uh here's what i'm thinking dodge this elite fight the one that's a little further up. we're gonna love swift too. i think i
-
23:26
on a cheap orbit. book of five rings is very easy for us to heal by just adding a bunch of cards to our deck considering we have bing bong as well. i mean, discovery is an incredible card, man. and it's two cards, one of them is free. flasher of steel is also free, but i don't wanna add two clumsies, i'm sorry. i get that we get a relic, but i don't wanna add two curses just to get one relic. that changes the game for a guy like me. choose a card in your draw pile and add it to your hand. let me think about this.
-
24:06
card in your draw pile and add it to your hand. benarite does not allow us to get to decisions decisions. monologue doesn't really hit anything. what in our draw pile would really transform our hand? i don't have a good answer for you. it's free this turn. okay, well it has to be crash landing at which point we probably look at this and go okay, you also wanna gain one strength, gain one strength. i also did the damage which is nice.
-
24:48
put it out a little bit of block and then play the highest value crash landing you can. these guys don't have debuffs and this is not free i've got to remember. okay, so we like a salvo, gave us energy back which is awesome. i honestly think you use this and you grab another discovery.
-
25:32
okay, got letter opener working. 10 block on top of that. let's save our energy to get pales or not pales tears triggered next turn. this is a rough one. i'm not gonna lie. but i mean, we kind of expected it to be a rough one too. i think you do monologue might as well get that out there. we only have i mean, we could we could play our whole hand and then orbits going to give us energy on the next one anyway. you're now dead.
-
26:03
i can't kill both. i'll kill you and get you one away. okay, so we're gonna make it but there was definitely some risk involved here. lantern's beautiful. supermassive, adding two of those to the deck actually doesn't seem that bad. is that cope? and then do you cut? i don't think you cut, man. i think you take potions to keep yourself alive. if anything, we wanna add cards to the deck at this point cuz we get a heal.
-
26:38
and then pales legion. yes, pales legion. and i forgot about cloak clasp as well. okay, well this could be good. you monologue discovery. i mean forge 30 seems crazy. it's already doing 42 damage which is pretty darn good. and then maybe just gather light for a star and then pass your turn. and then we wanna get a card that we did not get yet.
-
27:11
which is called decisions decisions and maybe that can give us enough block. supermassive doesn't quite get us there. is it worth weakening you? we do have cloak class keep in mind. i think we still weaken you it takes off six, takes off six. save your energy, 11 damage. this is big for us as we can monologue, monologue, get an attack, make you vulnerable.
-
27:51
turns out we needed it. i was gonna flex on him and say we didn't even need it. turns out we needed it. i think we like a manifest authority. it also creates cards and it also healed us, which we wanted to take something there. 28 cards considering we have bing bong is not that insane yet. let me get discovery first. we don't really care for seeking edge to hit everybody. you know what? we do want to like create a card instead of skipping. so let's create a seeking edge and just play it.
-
28:28
and then manifest authority, secret technique, you draw a discovery. the discovery becomes, i see, but like this isn't free. it is free. it's just from discovery. that's right. in that case, let's get this guy buffed up. i mean 47 damage out of him at our leisure is pretty darn good man. am i crazy to think we could actually draw one fewer for now? and then,
-
29:05
you've got to venerate in, we don't even have enough for decisions yet. well, you want to pop this early. well, this is our sovereign blade turn and then saving the energy for pale's tears. orbit's big.
-
29:28
be watching season one of devil's plan. all in star for sure. gather light. photon cuts pretty good. what do we want? you know what? put a strike on top, hit him with supermassive right off the bat, pass your turn. it's gonna be a puncher's bout here. let's put it that way. it's a puncher's contest. this turn is the turn in which we go in. so we go yeah, yeah. and if you think i'm looking bad, you should see the other guy. manifest authority, secret technique.
-
30:05
give me a quasar. quasar gives us, won't be free. it's worth noting. you know what, man? maybe it's time. maybe it's the right time for something like calamity to come out there. i still don't think i can take damage, which is insane, but i certainly have to play more than three cards per turn. so let's find a way to make it work. we'd like to gather light. maybe a child of the stars has a certain jeuneau seo qua. we got energy back from orbit. not that that matters.
-
30:35
yeah, we're gonna die, obviously. we're obviously gonna pass away. this is not gonna save us. that actually did a lot. and then we got an, oh my god, another. and then, wait, dying star. dying star not only kept us alive, but kept us in an unbelievably strong position. oh my god. calamity single handedly saved our lives. and then we killed you. okay, okay, okay.
-
31:20
i mean stars are good don't get me wrong but like two crash landings also seems crazy. i mean the double forge might be crazy maybe bing bong's okay no die adam! free energy at the start of your turn. the start of each combat shuffle three days is
-
31:40
also of course have a lot of money. we have to be careful though because we can't if we buy anything at the shop we buy two which could be good or do you just rush max hp by 31 man because it gives you so much more coverage against the boss. boss is and bing bong is actually pretty good against the door maker too. i gotta be honest. i think you go max hp and you just you stand toe to toe and the last man standing wins here. early quasar.
-
32:15
first attack or skill you play each turn is placed on top of the draw pile. yeah, i could be persuaded. so put you on top of the draw pile. wait, no first, okay, put you on top of the draw pile, pass turn. did that even work? it didn't work, which is okay because it means now i can play celestial mighty already. and, but then i don't have pales legion man or pales tears. okay, seven block colorless. i'd love to play you, i respect you now.
-
32:53
we have cloak clasp, so let's just pass turn, save our energy. you scale so fast, we gotta be careful, obviously. discovery probably won't go back on top of our draw pile, as nice as that would be. give me the neutron aegis for eight plating. you play crash landing or a fast, i think you play a fast in, man, and then don't even play the crash landing. that way we have some block ability, even though obviously we gotta get out in front of you too. then put a defend on top of your draw pile,
-
33:29
we gotta do some damage though at some point. drink this potion and see where we stand. it's vulnerability and weakness, so we gotta do it. i was hoping somehow that that would trigger a letter opener. but honestly for the cost of a potion, this wasn't even that bad. we might have something. i would happily add two manifest authorities, which also heals us because of book of five rings.
-
34:08
enchant an attack with corrupted? yeah. yeah, let's go. we only have... we only have this many. oh, our other attack is already enchanted, but that's okay! because supermassive is kind of like an ult for us. if we draw it late enough, we'll be very happy that it's corrupted. i don't think we can do 300, but i also don't think upgrading two cards is really that important for us. i could be wrong, by the way. whenever you create a card, gain one's strength. your hand's empty.
-
34:49
draw two and gain energy. i don't know if i can even do 150, but certainly there's been times where i thought i couldn't and then i definitely did. gain nine stars or just 21 damage, which you gotta give this a try, man. fortunately, our hand is never gonna be empty. never mind, never mind, man, never mind.
-
35:26
my bad. okay, we want to stay there then. we have one more turn to do 84 damage. that's easy. it hit two pretty good cards to be honest with you. let's take the safe path for now. i will pay 88 gold because i don't want to gain two deaths. oh my god, and i couldn't even get to the relic because we need... two doubts is like even worse, man. that's nasty. that's nasty.
-
36:18
and yet i still feel like we're not in a horrible spot. this is retained. okay, so let me get discovery. horrible choices on discovery, man. black hole at least allows us to put up a little bit of damage here. you're doing 26. i think we can afford to play one more. yeah, that's fine. orbit's kind of a must play. crash landing obviously does some work here. every rare.
-
36:53
every rare. i kind of like this, give me a sec, because here's why. anointed into, why didn't you put, where's decision? oh, there's decisions, decisions. i don't have the, i don't have enough stars. i was gonna play this in the double monologues and then go crazy with the crash landings. well, this is obviously less good. you're only doing six damage, so we don't have to freak out.
-
37:36
and that was orbit, i think that got us there. did we kill you? i think we respect the fact that we don't need the extra energy next turn. we just wanna put especially the guy at the back in a position where he's ready to crack. mission accomplished, man. this is a skip. i don't trust reflect. i've been seduced by it too many times. discovery coming back around. it's just cuz our deck is so thick. i don't think it's as core as it otherwise would be.
-
38:13
all monologues retaining does seem to set up like kind of wombo combo turns for us. i'm really happy to see manifest authority get upgraded. okay, okay. maybe it'll be worth it, man. i mean, i'd love to play discovery more than once. it's just when you know we're going up against doormaker, possibly can't really rely on it. fuck, i'll blow. a weakness is like as good as 10 block basically. 30 damage for free is also nice, but
-
38:55
well, not really cuz he has a bunch of artifacts. true. let's not fill our deck with debris yet. this one could be a bit of a, what could be a puncher's contest again. how about a discovery? child of the stars long term could be pretty good work for us. the quasar for us, fasting would go crazy long term. setting up, getting these powers out of discovery is really nice, man.
-
39:30
okay, and then discovery. another power? yeah, okay, i like it. manifest authority into a gold axe. i would just manifest authority again into entropy. would leave us with less energy on the next turn, which i don't want to mess with. i'm happy to have the amount of energy that i do. at some point, i'm hoping we can set up a really good turn. this is, in theory, supposed to be this turn.
-
40:07
because it'll be like monologue, monologue. i've not played in orbit yet. definitely do still play that. i mean, certainly you want to get that out there. you also want to get this out there. do you want to just play everything at your disposal? play everything but crash landing and strike. you need the energy for next turn. we are still taking 30 something damage though. my age, you kind of take that every day though. a horrible turn, horrible turn.
-
40:53
we are about to shuffle though, which is where we wanna be. maybe on this one we wanna monologue. let's retain, we should just, it's not gonna get, we wanna play one other card first. like converge, orbit so we get full draw. supermassive does go kinda crazy. hit this, photon cut.

put a decisions decisions back on top so we might have the energy to play it next turn but probably not. and hit you, i mean even hitting you for 44 is not that incredible to be honest. how much are you hitting me for this turn? 50? well, we'll start by manifesting our authority. mind blast is pretty alright. i don't know man.
-
41:57
just like not a spectacular turn. we spend three energy, we get one back. okay, well let's hit you with that then. play this. we have to spend two more energy. there's two energy, we get one back. you play terraforming to set up the wombo combo on the next turn and you definitely kill him now or you die forever. so you monologue, manifest, secret weapon. our best attack is super massive.
-
42:33
can't create any more cards, but like wait we have vigor so you hit him with the big the multi hit first okay, we lived surprise prize we made it and i want to add more cards if only to heal man i don't know if maybe celestial might kind of has to be taken here and then dodge dodge dodge the fights as well as you can equilibrium kind of good here, man
-
43:09
our hand will not be empty in all likelihood. we're already gonna retain our hand. let's take an ultimate strike, even though there's no shot we're gonna play it. unless it gets a kill, which it doesn't. i think we need the energy for the next turn. did that work, by the way? this also sucks. but this at least gets a kill. seems like you're going all in here. to try to get to a kill on you,
-
43:55
should have played these a lot earlier. wait, that actually helped out a ton. we still take a bunch of damage and we have to add whatever garbage you give us after this, assuming we live, which is a big assumption. wait, this is huge. and by huge, i mean, we don't take damage. wait, we take one, which means we lose some max hp. that's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay. i mean, forge 30 interesting, of course, but
-
44:28
realizing the true value of like letter opener in this situation as well, man. you're gonna hit me. you're gonna hit me. there's nothing i could do about it. no, i have cloak clasp. there's everything i can do about it, man. should we just go crazy? should we play three random cards from our draw pile and see what happens? all right, that's a good lesson to not ever do that. it has to be quasar. we heal off of that, which is nice. here we go, man. we made it to the boss, which is like a little surprising in and of itself.
-
45:08
at least this card's attack damage by five this combat when played. obviously good on like celestial might if we didn't have 38 cards in our deck. i think you gotta like, you gotta lock in on potions man. lock in on on potions and pray? cosmic indifference, take two of them, bring back a bunch of cards that create more cards to build up your super masses. you're gonna get so strong this is gonna be gross but
-
45:50
that doesn't help. cosmic that brings back a manifest, okay. so you're obviously getting insNLy strong. i've done five damage to you via letter opener. let's keep it going, bro. okay, free neutron age is kinda crazy. could be very helpful. cosmic indifference that brings back discovery. it was our non upgraded discovery. i mean, it's literally fine. we'll just bring back a manifest authority instead.
-
46:32
have three upgraded colorless cards into your hands, shall we? crazy play. i'm saving energy, man. i'm saving energy. transform a card. we don't care about a strike. it's transformed into resonance. gain strength, enemies lose strength. guys, we got problems. have you noticed the problems that are in front of us right now? i'll tell you one thing, taking one strength off of them ain't gonna matter that much. i'm not gonna stop playing skills. i have to play skills, because i have to defend.
-
47:14
when do we get our energy back? in two energy, we get one energy back. that's not good, man. it's not good, man. well, this basically gives him seven strength. i just also get one strength off of it. i don't want to deal with a bunch of debris though. well, we pass the turn. we pass the turn. although we get a free card from orbit anyway, but it can't be a skill. but i don't want to have a bunch of debris in my hands. okay, there you go. i lived, buddy. i lived, just so you know. we don't need an ascender's bane, man. turn that into a clumsy.
-
47:57
i'm all in. it has to be shockwave. you need to be vulnerable. and then we terraform into the greatest celestial might you'll ever see. we live the phase two, we're dead by the way. this guy does not get easier. never gonna be able to play this. dump it. huge play that now allows us to get to quasar. from quasar, quasar does not make the card free. it's just upgraded, okay.
-
48:39
in that case, give me a master of strategy and then play it and draw a monologue and a discovery. whenever you create a card, gain one strength. hang on, they've given us a narrow window. we do need to live on this turn. we're living on this turn with like 2 hp. we'll manifest our authority very quickly. salvo into retain? i gotta think about it, man. and we can't put up any more block. there's another monologue celestial might turn incoming.
-
49:38
two energy? i don't want to retain my hand. i want to draw better stuff next turn. let her fly. i have no attacks. i have no attack. well, you have to get rid of a defend. there's no other way you're going to live. i was supposed to draw in the... well, it's not that. i was supposed to draw into celestial might and then kill you, but obviously there's nothing i can do. this is just where we're absolutely cooked. two energy. we got our energy back. incredible.
