i feel like you have a better chance of getting better quality chests off the first floor. that's what i feel like, but i could be wrong. so i usually skip the first floor chest because i can solo the bosses with all the base weapons and then pick up the extra items. because the slime boss is really easy and if you get hit it doesn't cost you anything. yeah, exactly.
