i've told this story before, but in ontario you have to take a credit in 9th grade in a creative art subject. at my school you only had two choices. you had instrumental music and you had visual art, painting, drawing, sketching, etc. etc. the reason i was most excited to go to 9th grade was that i realized when i finished 8th grade i would never have to do art ever again. i do respect it.

i respect that for some people out there this is like a plus tier, a plus plus tier. and the other thing is i've almost got to put this in like an i don't know category because i genuinely have never been in an art class since eighth grade. so i mean maybe i don't know why i'm thinking of this exclusively like it's high school i guess because chemistry i didn't you know get into until like ninth grade but anyway.
