well, unless i'm a milk cow, because that seems like pretty cushy as a job. but if you were a cow, wouldn't you rather be around the humans right now because we're keeping their species alive? whereas like if it was the age of the dinosaurs, they would just eat every cow on earth in like two days. i might have a more qualitative life versus quantitative, right? like i might not have to live in a little metal chute and then have my throat slit.

if you're on the company dime, go to badnist, the restaurant inside of the hotel. it is... i can try this. it is the pacific rim. holy cow. you are a software developer. i'm just guessing. software developer, high ranking senior engineer, quantitative analyst at a big five canadian bank or american bank.

to run an analysis on it to see if they had extra dopamine in their urine which would indicate that they had fun hanging out with him that day. it was the only scientific quantitative way to determine if he had made himself into an entertaining friend for the other person. did you pay out? no. we got 10.

thus indicating that perhaps the canadian fed is taking a wait and see approach to inflationary data. but also they did continue with quantitative tightening. thus indicating that perhaps they are concerned about the inflationary pressure of rising m2 supply. because that's the big news today. is that what you want me to talk about? well, we pretty much just went over it. so i don't... i'm gassed. like i don't have anything else in the tank right now.

what do you think about japan's current fiscal policy? i think long term having negative real interest rates is inevitably going to lead to deflation for the country which could be catastrophic. i know they've been riding it out for a long time but i think they really do have to do some quantitative easing as an economy if they want to secure their long term economic sovereignty to be honest with you.

but as long as i don't lose more than one health per room, i should have an okay chance against blue babies is my thinking here. that's my quantitative analysis of how this is going to move forward. the three widow room is actually one of the best that we could possibly get. three widows also sounds like a fictional name for like a nuclear power plant and i like that a lot. it's a shame i'm a terrible writer otherwise i would love to author a book with three widows power plant as the

that was the worst damage. that's why i left the spirit heart there. give everyone their fair shake on a quantitative level. now, i just want to check on something. you know, we'll check on it when we leave. this is fine. let's go fight our first boss and hopefully we'll be okay. so it's been the first time i've played isaac in like... jeez, i don't know. we might be looking at a week and a half, a week at this point. which is not that long, but it's long enough that i'm feeling a little bit rusty. you know, i've actually got to tell my left hand and right hand what to do.

now the ultimate question i think for this run, and i'm interested to see what the results are in the comments or the responses in the comments, but the ultimate question is whether or not it was worth... i guess there's two big questions. was book of revelations better than book of belial? there's probably some way to run a pseudo quantitative analysis on that honestly given the amount of spirit hearts that i've gained versus the loss in damage that i took, but i'm not going to task anybody with doing that.

i don't know. it's gonna be that might be impossible to do a quantitative analysis on, but if possible that would be pretty cool. and you know, it's also situational i'm sure. in some situations it'll be better, in some situations it'll be worse. uh, but it raises some interesting thought, you know? 582 episodes and this is the first time i've ever found myself dealing with these questions.

i always say that stuff like that is personal preference, but it's really not. like, there is a way, i'm sure, to get, like, quantitative data about which is actually better. um, but, you know, i'm a lazy man. someone who did a good run isaac as a simulation, program, like, an ai that would play isaac a thousand times in a row, and then, you know, get back to me with the data about which runs work better. second level cubes of meat, or third level, and fourth level cubes of meat, and we'll see. um...

so we are also going to pick up a cube of meat. i've been getting all sorts of messages, i asked essentially for quantitative proof of why the second level cube of meat is better than the third level cube of meat. a couple people made good arguments, so you know, whether i get the second level cube of meat or the third level cube of meat, i will probably be happy with it nonetheless. but here's my thing, here's another hypothetical question for you, you data miners out there.

devil card? people have told me that the devil card gives you the book of belial effect if you hold it or maybe use it on a boss fight. it gives you a guaranteed deal with the devil. i don't necessarily buy it. i seem to have anecdotal memory of experiences that do not match that supposed rule, but the jury is out until i see some concrete quantitative evidence one way or the other, i guess is what i'm trying to say. for now though, this is a killer run, you know?
