it is hard for me to shake the idea that in 2022, the amount of artifice that surrounds it is just kind of humorous, right? we've said this before, so i apologize, but it seems weird to like buy a ticket and then be like, i'm so excited to like watch this guy get on stage and tell lies for 40 minutes. like it just seems like you need... i'm not saying that stand up comedians should only tell stories that really happened.
