you know in italy there was a museum that had this display on and it was an installation piece and it looked like somebody had trashed the place with a party but like only in a certain area and then the the janitorial staff cleaned it up and the artist is very mad about it. isn't that the ultimate art that the janitorial staff cleaned up? i agree completely i think the better statement is that they cleaned it up and then the experience of having had your art cleaned up is actually quite a bit more profound than just showing a trashed area.
