so yeah, let's take demon's tale. if i remember correctly, demon's tale causes heart drops to basically plummet, but the hearts that will show up will be exclusively demon hearts. which is a pretty good trade off for me so i don't accidentally end up picking up some red hearts, hopefully. alright, well, you could argue that not being worth it, but i think there's something to be said. we also picked up a bomb as a result, but you could argue that i think as we replaced a few spirit hearts with black hearts. mind you, we have less of them overall. i probably wouldn't do it again if given the choice, but...
