but i really do think, it's not like this is a collectible card game. this isn't magic the gathering. but it is similar to magic in the sense that your hp only really matters in so far as if you don't have any, you die. once you get over three or four hp and you find yourself, assuming you have a certain base level of damage, you find yourself in a good spot, you don't need anymore. everything else is just gravy. it took me years to learn that in this game.
