it's an item, it's a one use item like diplopia. you fire it and it shoots a beam. and anything that is caught in that beam will be removed from the game for the rest of that run. so that includes bosses, that includes keys and pennies, whatever you hit is gone. you could definitely make that i'm sure. because it's gonna have full support. you could actually make an entirely new game.
